    3. That was last year. Again, you're basically acting like Thomas is a dime a dozen. He absolutely does not, especially this year.

I'm not saying Thomas should win it, because no WR will ever win it, but he should be in the conversation.
He has four touchdowns, this is a ridiculous take.
    LakeShow.

Paul Pogba dabbed with the WC trophy.

    Kyler Murray isn't that short.

You don't see what a big deal Thomas is to the Saints.
WR by design is nearly impossible to be in MVP conversations.

They rely on the QB to get the ball so 99/100 times as good as they're playing the QB is getting the chunk of the credit since they're getting them the ball and likely others as well.

WR has never won MVP and that's with guys like Jerry Rice, Randy Moss, Calvin Johnson setting all sorts of records.

As far as him being in the conversation...maybe but at what point do you have too many guys in the conversation? And what's the point if he's not going to win?

Wilson, Jackson, McCaffrey right now IMO are the only 3 really worth talking about but things change. Carson Wentz looked like the runaway MVP two years ago and then got injured.

They've played Miami, Arizona and the Bengals twice. They'd have at least 4 wins by now.

They have a very good OL and a great TE group. They'd still be able to run the ball well and get some playaction going. Their defense has been solid.

Wilson until this game with the 49ers had to do it pretty much on his own with the D playing like crap.

I'm not saying Jackson hasn't been special, there's a reason he's in the conversation but I think you take both guys out of their respective teams and the Seahawks just collapse with their schedule. Baltimore is at least still in the running(especially in their division)

We'll see about that as the season progresses. I'm saying he should, and he definitely will be in the conversation as the season progresses.
His point was neither should be in the conversation because both guys get their sexy numbers from the QB so he gets the credit more times than not.

But you can certainly make the case that Kittle is more valuable as a TE than Thomas is a WR. Kittle's ability in the clutch, reliability as a pass catcher not only helps the QB but helps everyone else since the D has to pay extra attention to him but his blocking is also a HUGE addition to the 49ers offense. So he's helping them big time in the running game or pass pro on top of his abilities as a receiver and chain mover.

But simply put neither position deserves to be in MVP talks by design.

The Arizona and first Cincy game were actually fairly close, they lose both those games without Lamar.

Anyway, will just depend who finishes stronger between Wilson and Lamar. Watson has an outside shot if he goes bananas down the stretch.

Agree with this. I don't see CMC getting there unfortunately
