I don't think about it much, but I think there will be a time in my lifetime where it all comes to a boiling point. It will be awful. I cringe when I see people thinking everythings all well and good. Just type in the world is bad in google and all the articles will ctr to why the world is good and not that bad lol and theyre all from big media outlets as well. ahaha.
Anyway what are your plans if you have any? it could be varying degrees from a bit of prepping to moving to another country. im currently formulating my own and looking for ideas

The word was supposed to collapse every day, week, month, year, decade since before I was born. With the invention of the internet, Al Gore and CT's - it is now always front and center. I know people with 100's of rusted cans of food in their basement from 25 yrs ago when it was supposed to end and even more with ammunition out the ying yang. I'm not saying you shouldn't always be prepared with some essentials in case of an emergency but fkn lol. Live your fkn life and quit worrying.

A few years back i would laugh at the paranoid nut jobs on those doomsday preppers shows but now i'm glad that I have a little patch of land in an area with a lot of rainfall, solar panels, a water tank... basically 99% "off grid".
cos ****'s already starting to come apart at the seams, man.
Half my country is on fire right now, government that only cares about more and more coal mines and gives them unlimited water while major rivers are bone dry. FKN insanity. Still not as bad as the US & UK though.

stockpiling is just one small part of the equation. and i dont worry 24/7, its just at the back of my mind. so i cringe when i see the rose coloured glasses and **** in my everyday life. watch black friday videos on youtube and imagine if that was for real. its over for a lot of people because they dont even think about this sort of stuff

Daily.
Improve what you can improve.
Change what you can change.
Leave the place in a better state than you found it.
Refrain from pointless retaliation measuring dicks.
Smile, laugh, relax.
Winter is coming. Buy a warm coat in summer when they are on sale.
Fix your roof. Fix your gutter. Clean your gutter. Fix your shoes.
Plant a tree and some flowers..
I like roses and brambles..
And big deciduous trees that look for nutrients deep in the earth and lose the leaves with these nutrients in fall for you to use next year in food production.
In summer they provide shade and in winter they let the sun through to warm the house.Cycling, walking, swimming.
No car.

You guys are thinking a little too extreme. There will be a recession, mass layoffs and people will go through hard times not seen since the great depression but not apocalypse type chit. Definitely have a small stock of essential items as they will be the first to skyrocket in price once hyper inflation takes off. We will see some crazy monetary policies come out before all that happens as well. Hard to put a timeframe but I'm gonna guess 2-4 years before we see some siginificant issues. I mean look at the Fed repo program. Bond market is on life support and they'll keep going with it as long as people think things are "going well" in the markets. On paper it looks great, fundamentally it's not. Only a matter of time so just prepare to adapt if need be is all.

Most likely seeming scenario ATM. But it could be deflation instead of hyperinflation.
OP being fit, healthy, adaptable and skilled in multiple areas should improve your odds with whatever happens.

I got guns and ammo and a sweet Liquor store around the corner to hold me down for a few weeks. I will have to shoot Mofos on sight to hold it down but that's life

The reason everyone is wearing ear buds and stares at their phone in public is because they dont trust each other. I hate to say this but it's true. I hope this passes soon but I'm not holding my breath.
I really think they should just ban social media. You feel amazing if you can stop looking at it for a day.
