Alrighty y'all, drop your favorite weight-gaining calorie shakes down below for me.
I'm trying to get back in to the gym and gain weight again. Sitting at around 170. Need to eat around 3600-3800? a day to gain weight. It'll probably be all from shakes + lunch, because that's the only time I have time to sit down and eat.
Has to be lactose-free or able to substitute, cuz milk destroys my anus.
Last type of shake that I was making was...
1 serving peanut butter
3 servings oats
2.5 servings milk
1 serving protein powder
130 g banana
Roughly around ~1100 calories. I'd attempt two or three a day.

Lucky you!! I’m cutting at 1800 and will be bulking at 2400 maybe 2500 if I’m lucky!! How tall are you and how much do you weight?
I’ve heard olive oil does wonders. One tablespoon is 110 calories and in shakes you don’t taste it (I’ve only read this - I prefer eating lean hamburgers without mayo or chicken wraps or gyro on whole wheat tortillas/bread over shakes)**^^ Work hard AND more importantly, work smart ^^**

Damn. Let’s trade!! I’m 5 8” and 170
I am a foodie. Food is awesome! One of the top few favorite things in my life. I don’t like to overindulged but I love food. Maaaann everything I could eat and still hit my protien for the day.
You’re a hardgainer?
This skinny and very lean girl I know would eat a bag of flaming hot Cheetos with mayonnaise, ranch and chit and she wouldn’t put in a phucking pound!! She would try to gain weight and she just couldn’t.
Anyhow...jealous of you!!**^^ Work hard AND more importantly, work smart ^^**

I'd suggest one shake at most and making time or ordering food.
2 double Cheeseburgers from mcdonalds is 3 quid and a 1000 calories last I checked...
Unless you are working a 80hr week job I don't believe you only have time for 1 meal a day.
Since you have student in your name... I dont really belive you don't have plenty of free time.. I've graduated from and worked around universities for years. Every student has far more free time than they claim5 day full body crew

Lol. Did I not just say that I eat lunch? I'm in class from 8am-9pm most days and work from 4pm to 1030pm on others and can't afford to get 3x meals on campus and don't have time with studying to meal prep or do something time intensive like that.
Now, are you going to be helpful to the thread at all? Or are you just going to continue to ignore the whole point of this post?Bare Bones Series Log: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=176784551

The above are just excuses... If you prioritized nutrition/training you would find the time (not bashing, I was the same way in undergrad). However, it takes maybe 45 min to cut and cook chicken for the weekdays. Instant rice and veggies can be microwaved in minimal time. Where there is a will, there is a way... I have the same schedule as you (full-time job / grad school) but find time to eat while working, on the way to class, in class, etc. Having the food prepped to just grab and eat is key. You got this.

Dammit I want this but this about 60% of my daily calories. I’d die of hunger lol
But I want one. Now!!
After workouts I make me a smoothie
1 serving of frozen berry mix
1 serving of frozen pomegranate
3 oz of Minute Maid cranberry grape juice
3oz water
Blend and enjoy!! Phucking awesome and only 200 calories or so. You can buy these from sprouts or Trader Joe’s. If anyone cares, yes they are organic.
This is my version of organic “Pomegranate pick me up” from Jamba Juice. It’s not on their menu but try it. Theirs is 450 calories for a small or medium. Can’t remember**^^ Work hard AND more importantly, work smart ^^**

Boy, like the other guy said, what are you doing taking classes from 8am to
9pm? Lmao
Some of us have been through college you know. You take 50 credit hours a semester or what? I was taking 25 and worked 20 hours a week and even then don’t recall being that busy.
Campus food was the cheapest and best food ever!! Purchase a meal plan and go to the buffet. Eat one meal a day. Call it late lunch early dinner. Eat 1500 calories in one meal easy.
Get some PB, bread, almonds/peanuts for quick snack.
Add olive oil and / or PB to your smoothies
^^ this op.
I cook, portion and freeze enough chicken to last me 1.5 weeks @ work and at home. Always have whole wheat bread / tortilla and hot sauce / mustard available. When hungry, grab a portion Of chicken, oven it or micro it. Slap it on the bread, dash siracha and down it. If a also bale throw some veggies on there.
If have enough calories left over, add ranch dressing and make a killer tasting wrap**^^ Work hard AND more importantly, work smart ^^**

Why in the fuk are you in class for 13 hours straight and not allowed any breaks to even eat a snack or sandwich? Also, why are you studying so much for your 13 hour classes that you can't eat more than 1 meal before 4 o'clock? Also, why does your job have no breaks or ability to eat anything? What country do you live in?

Presumably, because ThatOneStudent is a student first, a forum poster second, and a human being third. All his physical and emotional needs take a backseat to his rigorous coursework and his obligations as a member of the bodybuilding.com community. In all srsness though, if he isn't trolling, then that is one sad life. I thought my college experience was kinda chitty because I had to deal with recovering from lifetime trauma that finally came to the surface. Still, I had plenty of time to go to parties, hang out with friends, do hobbies, and datearound/meet my current gf. I can't imagine this rigorous classroom-to-forum lifestyle leads much room for getting laid. Which is kind of secretly the point of college...
ThatOneSTudent, you're doing it wrong. Also, check out Lactaid pills. They allow people who are completely lactose intolerant (such as myself) to eat dairy without chitting their pants. It's perfect for things like ice cream that can easily and enjoyably help you get more calories in. If you're claiming you don't like ice cream either then you need to re-examine absolutely everything in your life.

You say I'm doing it wrong... but my CV says otherwise. Mental health is temporary, GPA is forever #gainz
I'll check them out tho. Haven't ever actually tried them before
Also also, I have time to go out and party and do some hiking on the weekends, but my priority isn't on cooking and making food. Hence why I wanted the liquid shake style stuff
And also why I also only eat ~800 calories a dayBare Bones Series Log: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=176784551
