Can 5% to 10% more protien make a huge difference?

    168lbs 5ft 8inches

This is something I have noticed recently - I’m trying to see if anyone else has experienced this and if I should go ahead and make this a permanent macro change.

I have been cutting at 1800-1900 calories and been eating atleast 170g protien. Some days I go over on protien and maybe hit 190g or more.

After a few hours I just feel stronger and muscles feel harder and later that day or next day it feels as if I recovered better. Not every time - but most times if I’m paying attention.

Could just 15g to 20g more protien make that big a difference? I can reduce my carb intake to offset?

More of a curiosity question than anything as I advance in this BB journey and learn what my body responds to.

If anything, protein just makes me feel fuller. Carbs are what give me more energy.

That’s what I thought. For me spinach and carrots make me feel full. Protein helps me stay full longer and carbs just yum!
