Thoughts on Planet Fitness?

I been going to PF for about a month and a week now, for 6 days a week.
Try to work out using the Push/Pull/Legs split

What are your thoughts on PF?

I'm 16 and just getting into it you know.
I feel like it's a ****ty gym, but for $10.00/month, I can do with it until.

and no i dont eat the pizza and ****

Don’t know much about PF besides the lunk alarm lol but if a gym has all the equipment than it’s all you need

I go to a PF and aside from the fact that they don't have any barbells I have no complaints. They definitely have some stupid rules but I've never had an issue with them.

As a teen PF is the best I can do, spending over $10/month is more than I can justify when PF is adequate. I understand that they have nonsense rules and other issues but going there doesn't make you a ***** by any means.

problem is they dont. ones ive been to dont have squat racks/benches and the dumbbells dont go very high. sure you could still make progress but they go out of their way to limit your options there

You can do a lot at a PF if it’s all you have access to. They have a nice locker room, cables, Smith machines, dumbbells up to 70, and a pleasurable atmosphere. I maintain a PF membership for when I’m traveling or at my parents away from my nice gym. It’s not a gym for me on a regular basis heck no but at your age you can save money and develop yourself beyond your average peers with a good training program.

PF kinda got a bad rep (cuz of the lunk alarm, pizza days etc) but I think for the price and if you get on a good program its alright
