    Less Protein on Non Workout/Off Days? (Cut)

    I'm 5 11' with 18-19% bf, 176 lbs. I'm about to go on a cut with 2280 calories. 179p / 234c / 80f. Can i consume less protein on off days (sat/sun)? 154g protein. So i can save my whey for a month?. Also do any of you eat more on off days? zig zag cut? is this done only when not loosing weight?

    Keep protein intake consistent.

    Don't zizag calories, up/down, etc.. So can't speak to that. Leave that for those who like the mind games.

    Keep it simple and consistent. Train hard. Results ensue.

    Given your protein intake is already above the minimum requirement, that's fine, 154g won't hurt you... but it's certainly not needed.

    Personally I would just keep it the same.

    Whey only costs like $1 / 25g protein. I'd just keep it the same every day.

    Weren't you bulking on 3600 kcal? Try cutting on 2500 first.

    Eat 160 gram protein every day. More is fine.

    It is better to take the same portion of protein every day, even on days when you do not exercise.
    After all, your muscles recover and grow on rest days, and as a result they need protein.
