    One set x 3 vs 3 sets x 1

    Hey guys,

    Beginner here

    Is it better to do 3 sets of one exercise at once, or 1 set of each exercise 3 times

    As a simple example:

    Bench Press: 3x12 then Incline 3x12

    vs

    Bench 1x12, Incline 1x12, Bench 1x12, Incline 1x12, Bench 1x12, Incline 1x12

    ^^^^this. The other way is circuit training, which has its uses but not for strength training.
