    Question Car Leaking Oil?

    - Car used to leak oil
    - PCV valve was replaced, problem fixed
    - 1-2k miles later, starts to leak after driving for a bit
    - Leak seems to be originating from oil spraying somewhere inside the driverside engine bay
    - There is also a bit of oil that keeps getting inside the air filter housing
    - I guessed maybe it was because my oil was dirty and changed oil and air filter (I was a bit overdue anyways), still no difference

I did some research and one potential cause is engine blow by which can only be fixed by a rebuild, and is scaring the chit out of me. Car only has 97k miles, is this even likely?

Well sounds like your mainseal might be leaking meaning rebuild.

How much oil is in it? Blowby could be overfilling maybe.

    What's ur make model year?

Could be simply failing to seal the oil filter properly.

    Coolant clean?
    Oil spraying or dripping down?

From your post you dont seem to know enough to diagnose this let alone repair it.... if you're losing alot of oil then see a mechanic otherwise keep an eye on it

Could be a number of things like a bad head gasket. Go to a mechanic.
