Currently work in Finance, Management Accountant but i hate my job more & more as each day goes by.
I feel like im literally adding 0 to the business & my own personal desire.
Chartered accountant WITHOUT a Degree. So kinda chitty - But UNI wasn't for me as i hate being stuck in a classroom environment.
Now im at the point now where i can make a career change & take the paycut trying to build back up to the level i am currently at.
Wut do MISC - All i know is. I'm good with numbers & love adding value to business/helping manage them.
Hold relevant Qualification in Business & Marketing.
I gotta get outta Finance or this current career path - Chit isn't healthy for me.
G4P Aint an option.
I wouldn't even know where to begin in terms of looking at what career would be good for me - I just know what i'm good at/like doing.

Perhaps flesh out how you add value to any company? Perhaps start within your own company and figure out how to streamline processes and create efficiencies that significantly reduce the number of hours worked so they can reduce staffing. Once you are good at that find similar businesses and start consulting. Explain the processes to them and make them pay you 3 months of the savings your ideas generate.

Issue with that. Wasted time within my current business. Corporate world - All decisions like come from above. No matter how good your idea is - All ideas stem from above.
Why i need out - Decisions they're making are ruining the business but they don't see it because they don't see 'Operational' level impact.
I think for that kind of idea i'd need to get into a start-up or a relatively small family business. But i like the idea - Plus consulting is DISGUSTING money... TRUST me i see the fees we pay...- Cutz 4 Sloots

this seems too obvious to suggest but have you looked into online degrees. they will get you places. and if your job is mundane/not very challenging, you can probably manage a few classes around it.
the job you currently have won't feel so bad if you're also building towards something better with a few online courses. it'll be more of a means to an end, just to pay bills and whatnot while in school, vs being your primary career path.

TBH - I think is probably one of the best options for me to maintain a consistent salary. But then it'd mean 4 Years of study has been wasted.
It's finding that job were i can incorporate my financial side as well as business side.
Perhaps a Business Degree - Alongside my Chartered Status would be very desirable by a lot of businesses.
But again - It's finding a job that would cater to my needs. Done working for a salary - i need enjoyment.

The reality is that there's a 95% chance you will go through this several more times, and thatslifeson.jpg
The most you can do is research what jobs/fields seem to line up with your strengths and interests on paper, and then either try them out or put the time in to talking to those who are established in the career and can offer insight
I will caution you though, do not make the mistake of constantly job hopping chasing the rainbow of "finding fulfillment and happiness from your job". They sold us this bullsh*t that everyone needs to be on cloud 9 every day for a several decade career. I fell for that, busted my ass for years, moved across the country several times, trying different careers that i thought *were the one*, and after long enough you will always find stuff that bothers you and leaves you dreaming of something better, "grass is always greener" and all that jazz

That's the point im at now - Even if i go into an Analyst role i'll take a 20% paycut AT LEAST! But i don't care about the money factor now. Mental sanity is priceless, Daily i picture me getting up & 'Wanted' my boss
My current option. Just applied for a competitor job yesterday as an Analyst, But there's fuk'n analysts test i gotta take & chit!? I'm already a certified accountant.- Cutz 4 Sloots
