Weighed yesterday, but didn't get a chance to post. Pretty happy so far with the keto, but it's definitely not something I would consider for long term (balanced diet within calories is what I want for long term).
It's awesome to see everyone's progress here, Johncyr, brownbear, etc. Great job everyone, even if you've gained this week, keep on tracking and hitting the gym, consistency is key!

Hey, starting a bit late. Lost 4kg in October but stalled now.
Strategy through the end of the year: 100% tracking + weighing food, 1800-2200 calories, 150g+ protein, going to try IF one or two days a week. Also trying to get more consistent with training.

Great week this week. Carbed up on Saturday last week and on Tuesday. Only was able to go to the gym twice this week but that's okay! -3lbs loss this week for me! I'm about to head out and get a big breakfast! Looking forward to being under the 200 mark once again!

Stressful finals week, ate at a deficit 5/7 days of the week but went for maintenance on Wednesday the day before our biggest exam and went a little over maintenance yesterday because we went out to commemorate being done, so had a few beers. Water weight caught up for today's weigh in, but I don't mind, I needed the vent as I hadn't gone out in a while due to focusing on my fitness goals and studying. Back at it strong today.

Well its not even one pound but at least going headed in the right direction i did really well on my diet this week but poorly on my non gym exercise about 4-5 less hours of walking than I have been doing lately.

I see some impressive weight loss going on here. Great job all!
Personally, I seem to have had a small whoosh last night putting me down more than expected. On Wednesday I was 214.4 and something similar yesterday. But this morning I woke up to 213.2. Considering this was next weeks goal, I am not sure what goal to set now. I guess I will aim for 211.5 or so since that was my goal for 12/06. I will be happy with a 1 pound loss though. A lot will depend on whether this whoosh was permanent or not. Plus Thanksgiving on Thursday might mean Friday's weigh-in could be off. I estimate that I am still around the 27% BF mark so every little bit helps. I am adjusting my end of year goal for now.

I am baffled. I set calories at 1800 a day. Sometimes I go up to 2000 or 2200, but these are both under my calculated tdee (I used conservative numbers ). I am going to start a 5/2 IF protocol and see if this helps.".......have you paid your dues Jack?"

I knew I was starting this at a low after 5 weeks of a perfect diet, and right when I was starting training again. Deadlifts make me so hungry.
Going to try IF for a couple days a week and see if it works, otherwise just going heavier on fruits / veg and cutting back out the extras. Christmas candy and holiday baked goods are all around me.Currently training at a powerlifting / oly gym, working on strength and mobility.
Currently recomping with noob gains, trying to cut.

Thanksgiving made my scale change for today. Wednesday I was 211.8, yesterday I had a whoosh and was down to 210.0 (less after pooping, but I don't count that kind of weight loss ha!). Of course I ate too many sweets yesterday and really filled up more than I have in a while. So today's weight is 212.6 which is still a half pound less than last week. I liked seeing that 210 number, and am hoping that I can be there next week.

Another impressive week albeit wanting to slow down the loss to 2lbs/week. Carbed up on two occasions. Managed to hit the gym 4 times. and I am now considering skipping cardio for now event if I only aim to burn 200-300cals. Feels good to be nearing my goal of not being over 200 even with weight fluctuations lol. Also bought some collagen cream to help with loose skin and stretch mark healing.
