Tourist Trap - didn't really do much for me

the dvd has a few different trailers to watch which is good.

Well I recently seen the movie Vacancy. It was a good idea for a story, but the movie lacked. Also, HORRIBLE ending.

Will someone suggest me some good slasher movies

The Secret Window is decent good movie. It gets really twisted.

I liked Vacancy but i agree about the ending, it was pretty average.

Apart from the main ones like Halloween, Friday the 13th, try the Sleepaway Camp series, The Burning, Black Christmas, Prom Night series (maybe? i loved them), Slumber Party Massacre was a fun one.

They're all fairly old, don't know about new-ish movies. I would recommend High Tension, Behind the mask (i haven't seen it yet), Hatchet is a good ones, Wolf Creek.

Any of them are good..

Massacre at central high - 8/10

enjoyed this one a fair bit. ****ty quality dvd but it was still watchable.

nothing happens, the guy just does his little crawl thing over to the girl and stands up, revealing a different mask. Then it looks like he's about to stick her with something, thought they were syringes at first but i don't think so

When does it come out? I think imdb said june for Germany. No doubt it will never see a release here, i'll have to download it

Sorry, horror fans. The upcoming horror “documentary” Poughkeepsie Tapes has been pushed back from its February 8 release date to an undetermined date sometime in 2008,. The movie, directed by the Dowdle brothers, purports to be a collection of tapes that documented one serial killer’s ritual slayings. After years they’ve been found and are being brought to the world.

Studios delay movies all the day for all different reasons, so it’s hard to speculate on exactly what made them ditch this one. February isn’t typically a very competitive time, so it seems like a good time debut a non-Saw or Hostel horror movie, but maybe they think they have something that could succeed in the summer or fall marketplace. On the other hand, there’s been bad buzz online from a handful of festival screenings, so maybe they’re trying to let people forget about it for a while before springing it on an unsuspecting public.

It'll be released on dvd no doubt, but we tend to get a ****ty selection of horror stuff here. If it does well then we'll get it, possibly months after it's released though.

first thing that came to mind was that movie sounds like Funny Games and Vacancy.
I didn't mind Vacancy actually.

I just rented "In My Skin", which is a French movie about a woman who develops a taste for self-mutilation after she cuts her leg. More of a drama than a horror movie, but I felt a little light-headed afterwards.

Was anyone kind of let down by "Hatchet"? I thought it was good but the hype was a little much.

"All the Boys Love Mandy Lane" looks like it's promising. The review I read said the killer's identity is revealed early on... too bad, I'm a sucker for the 80's slashers where they don't let you know until the final girl faces him/her down. My Bloody Valentine ftw, peeps.
