    Unhappy Chest looks bad

Hey guys. I started working out this April and I’ve been working as hard as I can. I’m 17 years old and weight 63kg.

I eat good. I have scrambled eggs in the morning with some bacon. Then I go workout at 11:30am or sometimes 1:15pm. I work out through Monday to Friday while on the weekend I have an active rest. After the workout I have a little snack usually protein bar and some fruit. After like two hours I have dinner, usually some chicken, sweet potatoes, peppers, spinach, salad and beans. Then I have a snack like an hour after usually some SKYR yoghurt.

For workout, I do callisthenics/body weight exercises. Lots of different pushup variations in order to get hypertrophy. Time under tension etc. I also do dips and use rings. My chest always feels pumped and good after a chest day. I also do my back on chest day (pull-ups). With my abs I work them daily, on some days harder than others dependent what I do on a certain day. I’m confident to say my core is extremely strong as i can do advanced exercises for it.

My problem is that my chest isn’t that defined and neither is my core. I don’t know if it’s just me but I just looks so weird like I had my chest stuck on me. With my abs I see progress but not as much as I would like. I would say my body fat is high but I really don’t know that’s why I’m making this post so you guys can help me improve. I work really hard and seeing what I’m seeing slightly makes me feel down, not demotivated. I attached photos.

Your chest doesn't look "bad" at all. You have to consider that "body weight" exercises at under 139 pounds is not a lot ogfweight to be working with. Especially considering pushups usually only involve a percentage of your body weight.

So what do you recommend me to do, use weights? Do I have to bulk up to increase my chest size?

    Yes and yes

You don't need to pile on fat to gain mass. Just keep weight gain down to under 3lbs a month.

I agree. You just need more mass but you already had good results considering the short period.

The best results will be gained in the gym. I think your chest would benefit from the usual bench press and incline bench press for size.
But especially dumbbell flyes with a 10 inch gap at the top to keep the tension constant to make your outer chest grow rapidly making it wider.
If you don't have access to a gym or if you're still too young to join, try doing chest dips which are a great exercise if you haven't already.

The triangle gap in the middle is just genetics. But the more mass you'll get, the better your chest will look.
Just keep working hard and the gains will follow.
    Cobra Kai never dies!
