    L-Citrulline DL-Malate or L-Citrulline or Citrulline Malate?

    Hello all.

    Yesterday bought L-CITRULLINE DL-MALATE (Primaforce).
Can anyone explain what does L-CITRULLINE DL-MALATE mean? Does it contain L-Citrulline and Citrulline Malate or it's just Citrulline Malate?

If so, what do you think is better:
    1) L-Citrulline + Citrulline DL Malate
    2) L-Citrulline
    3) Citrulline Malate

Looking forward for your opinion/experience on these amino acids.

It’s l-Citrulline mixed with malic acid. Whether it’s called DL malate or just Citrulline Malate.

    Use l-citrulline

L-Citrulline Malate is just l-citrulline mixed with malic acid. So I prefer 5-6g of just l-citrulline on it’s own.

This. There is no reason to use CM.

Interesting, cause most of the articles recommend CM. To be honest, didn't find any significant improvement in training quality... I also want to use it to increase the blood flow in the penile area.

A lot of studies are done using CM as opposed to just citrulline but physiologically there really isn't much benefit to supplementing with malic acid

Will try L-Citrulline of NOW Foods, or any other brand to check whether is good or not.

Also check dates of studies. 10 years ago it was all CM. The last 2-4 years are where bulk l-cit has taken off.

Citrulline Malate is when the L-Citrulline Molecule Is bonded the a Malic Acid molecule. What’s your ratio of the one you bought? 2-1 or 1-1? Most sites will recommend at 2-1 ratio of citrulline to malic acid. The malic acid is suppose to help with energy and make it easier on the stomach.
Personally I prefer plane L-Citrulline. You bought it for the NO so why get something with less of what you actually want.
Unless you want to add more of the ingredient.. ie: 9 grams malate vs 6 grams l-citrulline for a 2-1 ratio
