Thumbs up LeBron is still the best player in the league. It’s not up for debate.

Let’s be real he should literally be the MVP every single year but I understand the NBA is a business and they need to push the younger guys to be the face of the sport after his retirement. Makes sense.

The only mistake he made last night against the clippers was giving the young boys too much room to shine. LeGoat could’ve easily taken over and sealed the game.

No, he's not. That's okay. Its alright to admit an NBA player who has had a great career is declining when he's about to turn 35.

You're in the same cuckbase that thought MJ could return and be the best player in the league when he was 50.

Not sure if srs. LeBron is actually getting better with age, like a fine wine (no homo). MJ is an overrated bum that couldn't even hold LeGoats jockstrap. Can't wait until he brings the chip to LA this year. The naysayers will be in shambles.

Oh rly, what would you call 36% FG shooting, other than a mistake... An over-hyped abomination?

Imagine if PG was playing, and if Danny Green didn't have an absolute fluke of a game. It would have been a 40 point blowout. MVP's don't let that happen.

He’s not even a top 5 current player. Might not even be top 10 tbh

Kawhi, Curry, giannis, healthy kd, harden, Westbrook, ad. After that it’s debatable. He’s in the jokic, dame, kyrie tier.

He’s yet to prove it in the west. He had a 19ppg robin and still couldn’t sniff the playoffs. He’s got a lot to prove this year. If he can’t deliver a ring in a dominating fashion any top 10 all time talk becomes a joke if it isn’t already

    Spot on.

Also lol at calling him the best player in the NBA when he’s not even the best player on his own team....

Lebron adding the 3 pt shot extended his career along with his remarkable ability to stay healthy most of his career

He needs to add the midrange facet to really be elite for the next 2-3 years.

LMFAO at being delusional enough to think Lebron's gonna decide to become a complete player in his 17th (or is it 18th) season.

This is the most retarded ****ing post I have ever read

Good to see the chit on Lebron threads popping up after 1 game though

On a side note, Clippers looking scary, that bench depth is insane

This is actually the first season in a decade were LeBron probably isn’t the best. I hope not though.

i know this is one game but I think the days of Lebron being an MVP are behind him.

guys like Kawhi, Giannis, Curry, Durant, Davis are the top tier players in the league now. Lebron however is still a top 10 player and his playmaking has gotten better as he's aged. A key for him will be to further refine is 3 point shot and his mid-range game. Post-ups may not be viable as AD should be the guy getting all those touches down low. For the first time in his career I think Lebron will need to defer more to Anthony Davis if the Lakers want any sort of success this season.

Maybe I'm wrong because playoff Lebron going off on teams is a real thing and he definitely steps it up there. Defensively he coasts, which is fine for the most part for now given his age. Would like to see AD however be the defensive stopper he is capable of being. Still early and only time will tell. Lebron however definitely isn't as explosive and clearly his ability to barrel down the lane and finish above the rim is diminished somewhat.

Lebron is in contention for the greatest of ALL time. Let that sink in. Lol at people doubting him this season.

You're calling Curry a top tier player and saying he's better than Lebron

Let that sink in how retarded that sounds, how ****ing dumb of a claim that is after one game lol

Lebron hasn’t even been the best player for 5 years. Kawhi has done more and got more accolades than lebron. Fukin lol at being the king and not winning opening night

KD has been a better scorer than lebron these recent years, higher fg percentage than lebron except when he goes near the rim. Lebron made other players guard KD in the finals because he was scared. I could go on about lebron but fukin lol at thinking he’s the greatest right now let alone the greatest of all time

Dude also lead both teams in turnovers in 5 finals series. There’s a reason why he’s 3-6

How retarded do you have to be not to think Curry, a recent two-time MVP, the greatest 3 point shooter of all time with 3 championships isn't a top tier player. Stop it with your hot takes. Curry is better than Lebron their point in their careers. If I want to win now I would rather start my franchise with Curry than Lebron. Lebron is getting old, more prone to injury and coasts hard defensively. Put Curry on any team and he will put them in the hunt for a championship.

Stop using your feels over facts.

I remember back in the finals don’t remember exactly which one, but curry was out rebounding lebron being a smaller player and PG. it’s pathetic that people consider lebron to be a top player when he gives up SO easily on himself and his teammates

He’s one of the worst defenders in the league. A locker room cancer. Scared of the big moment on offense. Can’t hit a free throw to save his life. And too turnover prone.

Mind=blown that people are so blind to see the massive holes in his game.

    18-31 in 49 finals games
shot under 40% in four playoff series, and two finals series
    Was swept in TWO finals
Was outplayed by a bench player in 2011 (terry)
    Poor defender
    incapable of elevating his teammates
    Disappears in the 4th

Sat like a child when JR Smith messed up in Game 1 of 2018 finals instead of gathering his teammates and being a leader

Yup we are looking at their first game! lmao!

As a laker fan this is true, I remember dude would miss free throws or choke in the clutch when we still had a chance for the playoffs. Also lost to lottery teams in that stretch just LOL
