What happened the last time the Saints had back to back mediocre seasons? We won a ring baby!
I apologize if there is already a Saints thread but if not let me hear from my fellow worshipers of the black and gold. Drew Brees, Mark Ingram, CJ Spiller (if healthy), Brandin Cooks, Willie "feed the snead" Snead, Michael Thomas, Coby Fleener. Is Drew about to throw for 6,000 yards? This offense is gon be lit bros. With an ounce of defense we go back to being contenders again. WHO DAT

I will miss Marques Colston forever but I'm thinking about someone who can take over a game. Still blows my mind that he never made a Pro Bowl though. The press just gives us no love at all. I want to pull my hair out when I see Ben Roethlisberger or Cam Newton ranked ahead of Drew Brees by a miscer. What a joke.
I expect cooks to have a 1500 yd 12 TD like season with these new targets to draw attention away. We are gonna see some bombs from Breesus to Cooks on pretty much a weekly basis.New Orleans Saints

Not sure if srs.....he didn't go off until the second half of last year but he still ended up being a top 15 WR in his second year in the league with no other receivers to draw attention away from him. Also....the Saints offense has never been bad under Sean Payton and it's usually top 3 in the league without fail.New Orleans Saints

That offense was quite literally unstoppable. Defense was suspect (just like the packers) and it cost both of our teams. I remember the 49ers that year literally had the best defense in the NFC and when the saints werent having bonehead turnovers they were moving it at will vs the 9ers like they were the titans or something. I dont think there was 1 game where the saints didnt gain a minimum of 350+ yards. I remember the saints had clobbered the giants 49-24 a few weeks earlier before playoffs began, just a horrific match up for the giants. They are lucky alex smith went god mode in that 4th quarter. Epic game.
Letting graham and sproles go was a big mistake. Offense hasnt been the same really since sproles left IMO, but graham hurt even worse.

You'd certainly think so considering how confident Saints fans were around here.
I remember several laughing at the idea that the niners could even keep it within 14 points...let alone win the game. Honestly the game never should've went down to those final moments. One of the reasons I didn't mind them trading away Alex Smith. He was just content punting the ball away if guys weren't wide open...next thing you know it's a tie game.

Our boys dominated the Pats in practice at Gillette Stadium today. Shut down Brady (4 of 8 with two check downs) and Jimmy G (3 of 8) in 7 on 7 drills. Drew Brees "feeling it" in 7 on 7 drills.
13-3. First round bye. Book it boys!
EDIT: Jairus Byrd looks like he might be healthy (yooooge). Made a big play on the ball against Gronk in the end zone.New Orleans Saints
