Dude Scheer would be a far left democrat in the states lol.
Lulz there's literally a separatist page for Alberta. 40000 people throwing a tantrum so far.

As if that wasn't the most ironic ****ing thing in the world.
The tears are very, very salty. And oily.
Because our borders are tighter. It is more difficult to become a citizen or work here too. Every metric imaginable.

Lmao wow there's 3 "progressive" parties to 1 conservative party and the 3 "progressive" parties got a higher % of the vote?
How shocking, please tell us more fascinating things like how as US team usually wins the Stanley Cup because there's 24 of them and only 7 Canadian teams.-always pick 4 crew

Conservatives did pretty good overall. They got 6.1 million votes. They crushed it and Trudeau got a pathetic 33% of the vote. If you add the PPC vote to that they surpassed Brian Mulroney's sweep in 1984. The right base came out to vote and then some.
But with 350,000 immigrants who vote 70% liberal flooding into seat-rich Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver every year, it's a losing battle for the conservatives unless they adopt a PPC style immigration platform.
Scheer actually did worse than Harper in 2015 in Ontario percentage wise. Trudeau and Ahmed Hussen's 1,000,000 million immigrants from the third world between 2015 and now is why.

That makes absolutely no sense...
Immigrants cannot be 100% of a country's population growth because that would mean no one who is a citizen would be having kids at all. You mean for every child born there will be one immigrant? We have a very low cap when it comes to people immigrating into the country.

You must be high or stupid.
Out of 100% of Canadians that vote, 60% to 70% of them, consistently, vote for left-of-center parties. Hence, progressive.
The majority of Canadians, consistently, vote for progressive parties.
Do you get it?
If not, take a grade 2 mathematics course. And David said, "The Lord who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine." And Saul said to David, "Go, and may the Lord be with you." (1 Samuel 17:37)

Lol you're the one that needs a math course retard.
75% of the available parties to choose from are "progressive" parties, and you're acting like it's significant that they get most of the vote.
You really think if you took out the NDP, Greens and BQ and it was only the Liberal party or Conservative party to choose form the Liberals would still get 70% of the vote?
Take a stats course and then come back when you're less retarded.-always pick 4 crew

yeah, a lot of the voters I feel like don't even know what the word progressive means in the politics sense, or just blindly vote for whoever based on other factors that have nothing to do with politics so saying 70% of the population is "progressive" is pretty misleading, some who aren't necessarily a fan of progressive policies may not like Scheer so decided to vote for the lesser of the evils. who is to say that if NDP, Green Party, BQ ceased to exist that all of those voters would vote Liberal ... you're right. Sometimes it's not about the party itself but who is actually the leader of that party, judging by this thread there are alot of people that are conservative but don't seem to like Scheer that much. Perhaps with a different conservative leader they would have gotten more of the vote.

I call this action, not tears behind a computer screen. Petitions are how things start in Cucknada.
Conservatives accepted Trudeau's victory and are immediately being proactive.
I'm a strong Conservative and accept Trudeau's victory. He won, it's done. Well played Justin and the LPC. Scheer should be forced/asked to resign immediately. If Bernier had run for the CPC, I think the result would have been quite different. Scheer was as bad as Hillary Clinton. He was Harper 2.0 without a first mandate behind him.
Let's see where things go for Canada. Trudeau already had his chance and failed miserably, yet he was still reelected. O'Leary already called Trudeau an incompetent and moved all his money out of what he called 'Socialist Canada'. He calls the U.S. economy under Trump: 'better than the sixties because of deregulation'.
I'm from Leftist Quebec, the world capital of social progress where the Women's Federation of Quebec dates back to 1966. The Bloc is as left as the NPD. They problably blow each other in secret.
The rest of Canada sees Quebec as conservative but this is far from the truth. Quebec is extremely Socialist. Everything built in this province is always overpriced, delayed, overbudget, endless strikes. We have tons and tons and tons of social programs that siphon money. Everything in the public sector is a disaster.
Quebecois simply want no religion, quality immigrants and preserve their culture/language. It's not a right/left thing. Most of Canada is completely dumb about Bill 21. It is NECESSARY for people in position of authority and government to NOT wear religious symbols while they work in order to encourage impartiality. Jagmeet just learned this the HARD way. Many Canadians secretly believe the same thing.
It's a great thing for Quebec that the Bloc got in strong even though I don't give a flying fuk about Separatists. A strong Quebec in a united Canada.

Very disappointed in my nation.
Wont be 4 yrs op. Minority govt often are forced to hold another election within 2 yrs
The popular vote argument is silly. The only thing I view it as a sign the party is viable.
Heck in Alberta the libs only got 17% they got 10% in Saskatchewan
The 3 western provinces carry the nation yet our votes mean nothing.
It's frustrating but the 3 provinces need to create a block and work together for more influenceaka. Tomthetrainwreck

Terrible news.
I kept waiting for Sheer to really accelerate the campaign and it just never happened. He seemed so passive and dull about everything. The Conservatives had everything in place to take down the lying cowardly wimp, and flat lined. The PPC didn't even split the votes like I was afraid would happen pre-election.
They desperately need a better face for the party. Somebody who exudes more passion and personality. Sadly, that's what it takes in modern politics. Less about your beliefs, values, and economic principles, and more about goofy one-liners, and appearance.
Why not somebody like Michelle Rempel (MP in Calgary)... At least she's pretty attractive, and a female. That stops the pathetic "feminists" from playing that card. She is passionate, well-spoken, and is somebody who might inspire votes.
Pierre Polievre is great, too. Probably the best choice from my limited knowledge. But, again, a white male. Of course, that matters to the moronic sheep these days.

Polievre has a terrible reputation and is basically a scumbag (yes from Ottawa) but he manages to keep his riding because the farmers love him.
Scheer will be told to resign, and he should. There are much better candidates within that party that can easily win the next election. He was a stupid leadership choice in the first place.
