    BCPL Training Log

    Welcome to my training log

    Ive been lifting for a good few months now, gained a bit of bodyweight and trained on an alright novice program... but I havent gained enough bodyweight and Ive been plagued with periods of high stress and illness causing a lack of absoloutely ideal progress

    Im still just under 70kg, yes Im a bit vertically challenged, and Im fairly lean... but I need to get past that 70kg mark and then into the mid to high 70kg’s to really get the muscle growth and strength I want

    Im bulking of course now focussing on consistently hitting that surplus every day. Hoping that a kickstart in new bodyweight gain will make my lifts and hypertrophy start progressing fast again

    I now organise my training into an upper/lower setup, big lifts, moderate volume, more weight or reps over time, with a set or two of some bro pump work at the end

    Im pretty fresh starting back consistently on the surplus and kinda to the training setup too so my numbers arent very good but the work is getting done and we’ll see those lifts start climbing up again

    Life gets in the way sometimes but I need to dig in and be more consistent

    Walking lunges are brutal, but great

    Stiff leg deadlifts were very nice, gonna enjoy progressing on those

    Sore today but to be expected after missing sessions

    Been hitting 4000+ calories consistently, bodyweight is up 1kg over the past 3 weeks

    Looking forward to a good upper body session tonight
