Hi Guys,
I have been eating really clean with my protein being extra lean ground turkey and ground chicken breast. 1 LB of extra lean ground turkey is roughly 500 calories with 100G protein. 1 LB of filet is roughly 1200 calories with 120 G protein. So my normal day consists of 2 lbs of extra lean turkey which bumbs my protein over 200G and i fill the rest with greens/fats. Is there a benefit of eating 1 lb of red meat compared to 2lbs of turkey?
I am currently 200 lbs 6ft and roughly 15% BF

No.
However, if you're eating 2lbs of turkey, and you're also eating other foods, you're going to be massively over-consuming protein in general...
You do not need that much protein.
Also, why are you eating this kind of diet? it sounds like a KETO diet, which is also not something you need to do at all...The power of carbs compels me!

Well, a couple things. I feel like I am really sensitive to carbs. The moment i have some other than green veggies and oatmeal, my weight will jump significantly and it will leave me craving a whole lot more. I eat the turkey because I am hungry throughout the day and would rather eat quantity in lean meat than quality rich meat. So i make 8oz portions of lean turkey and eat 4 of them throughout the day. I will have oatmeal in the morning, an egg, and even a quest bar which jump starts my fiber. I know its not the best but on a typical day, i have about 1650 calories - 270 g protein, 78 g carbs, 38 g fats. I used to be down to roughly 13% BF at 193 lbs but I let myself go a bit. Went on a 2 week trip and ate everything and anything with no exercise. then when i came back, diet was ok but weight lifting went from 6 days a week to 3 days. Back on track since last week though.
