Why is it the "master race" that always complains about chit crashing or not working?

Because game manufacturers suck at setting everything up. I own it on Ps4 too (so my wife could play) and there are 0 issues playing on PSN on the PS4 Pro.

Campaign

Ok. The little girl level is dumb af. Giving me anxiety bcuz I keep assuming I'm crouching when really I'm just a stupid child

Played a few rounds of survival. Definitely different than mw3... kind of buggy atm.

The enemies remaining has been wrong several times...showing like 20 enemies left when there's only one. And an enemy ran through a closed door on me.

Also it let me buy a cluster strike but it wouldn't let me use it?

Same here. I picked up the game yesterday (ps4) and played the first 3 missions on campaign before I got impatient and jumped into multiplayer. I’m still playing RDR2 and haven’t even finished Spider-Man which I started like 4 months ago lol...I don’t play COD for the “story” I play it for the action from online play.

Early thoughts: I like it! Wasn’t a big fan of Black Ops 4, loved WW2 from a couple yeas ago and this seems more like that but with better graphics and handling...love the shooting dynamics, probably the most realistic COD yet. Got destroyed my first 2 matches but managed to finish 1st place and get a couple killstreaks by my 3rd game.

One weird thing I experienced: I had heard that the load time was ridiculous...but for some reason my ps4 only had to install about 30gb of “add-on” stuff...but didn’t take up the whole 150gb or whatever. I was playing about 30 minutes after putting the disc in.

Finally found someone who also thinks that MW feels a lot like WW2, which is a good thing imo

Low TTK, a lot of angles, and loud ass footsteps heavily favor slower gameplay. TBH there's not that many campers, but if I can hear your hobbit feet stomping down the hallway, I'm gonna pause and ads at your corner.

Snipers have really slow ADS. When you level them up and add perks/attachments does it speed it up?

Haven't liked a COD this much since MW and MW2.

Last night I could only play boot camp and said I was offline and couldn't play anything else...including campaign. Rebooted the PS4 and it at least allowed me to start on campaign.

Yes. I'm actually not enjoying the game aside from Gunfight which to me is very, very fun and more challenging/skill-based.

Free for all is also decent, domination a close third. But TDM is an absolute chit.

I guess my playstyle will adapt over time once I unlock more weapons/perks because i'm struggling with the base perks more than anything

to be fair most killcams look like they're waiting in a corner from before a killcam even starts. not like they're moving around then hide as i approach

I'm playing exclusively ground was so far. I'm a little sad that there aren't wager matches because that was the GOAT game mode. I used to play mostly domination but haven't given it a try yet. Same with gun fight. I'll try more game modes throughout the week

Whoever designed these maps for this one needs to be fired and they need to apologize for these terrible maps.

Piccadilly is the best map in the game and it's not even a "great" map by even COD standards. Maybe I'm spoiled because the Pinnacle of online shooter through my rose glasses is SOCOM 2 which had incredible maps. I just wanted this game to have great maps and instead we get these.

I like the TTK (mostly), I'm not a huge fan of the number of 1 shot kill rifles with Red Dots. I've found I prefer S&D/Cyber Attack in this because the maps flow a little better in those modes. Gun Fight is pretty fun, and I like the overall customization in weaponry.

The campaign isnt bad so far, The townhouse clearing mission was pretty legit.

Am I missing something or is there no separate menu to choose a specific game mode, e.g. TDM, Domination, etc...or do you access those games only via the “Quick play” menu and have to filter out the others?

Just have to filter out the modes you dont want.

Anyone else lagging like crazy? Controller is either slow to act, or I barely move my stick and my reticle flies across the screen. Hardly even playable for me. Seemed to almost disappear once I switched to Ground War... which I didn't enjoy my first game at all.
