I've played competitive Call of Duty since cod4... won lots of $, and played with guys who went on to be pro. It has nothing to do with being dog **** at the game. I would bend you over with minimal effort, I have seen actual pros complain about the camping, guess they are dog **** as well.

I crashed 3 times yesterday in an hour and got the 6178 error and set my texture resolution to high and had not crashed since. Granted all of my crashes were on Petrograd and I didnt play a Petrograd for the rest of the night. Maybe I got lucky but it seemed to work for now

Racked up a grand total of 8 hour playtime so far.. I just can't seem to WANT to login.

I'm sure most/all of you would disagree but the TTK makes this game less appealing than Counter Strike & battlefield; but I realize the playerbase of COD doesn't give 2 chits about either of these games nowadays (Maybe CS a bit)... Just feels a lot less tactical than the other FPS games due to it, including older COD games like COD3MW, MW2, BO, etc.

Getting killed in 0.1/0.2 seconds makes the gameplay mostly revolved around finding the right spot to camp/patrol, and nothing else. I guess it's just geared towards that, and not actual tactics/recoil control/aim etc. It's not even a problem with pre-nerf M4s, Shotguns, claymores (post nerf) as you can't nerf these weapons enough without making them lag too far behind others, it's just the TTK as you are 99% doomed the moment someone opens fire on you, there's no reaction that would assist in saving yourself.

Tried playing the campaign yesterday but 20-40FPS in cutscenes was quite bothersome, lol. Didn't they release a fix for that already? my disk usage was 500-1000MB/sec during cutscenes, go figure.

Fuk this game is garbage. Is this what I came back to gaming for? Was excited, now just disappointed. Glad I got the game for free from a deal instead of wasting $60. The maps are terrible and it definitely encourages camping. But the worst part, idk if you guys noticed, is the SBMM. If you're a decent player, you'll get thrown into sweaty games against top tier players. CoD is supposed to be a fun casual game, not a game I want to try-hard in.

Hoping a big patch comes out with a lot of fixes this game needs because it does have potential, but I doubt it. Definitely seems like Activision made this game for the newbies. I miss regular pubs playing against a wide variety of skill. Now I can barely keep a 1.0 k/d ratio even though I normally have a 2.0 in past CoDs

once you learn the maps, camping becomes less of an issue, IMO. and it helps to turn off some of the modes in quickplay lol. but i went from like a 1.03 K/D to 1.76. granted, my SPM is horrible now and my win rate is also pretty bad, but you gotta do what you gotta do lol

they definitely need to take SBMM out of quick play tho, makes absolutely no sense to have it there.

Sbmm NEVER works

It’s the same reason I quit dota. If I get put with a bunch of random crap players and get stomped fine, it’s happens. But when the game progressively puts you with worse and worse team mates vs better people because it wants to keep you at 50% w/l it’s just not fun

Not sure about the confusion. If you equip the combat knife as your secondary, then attack someone from behind with it, you get an “execution” style kill. There is actually a challenge to get ten such kills that I struggled with for a long time.
