Right, that's why women are devastated when they miscarry, cause it isn't a baby and just a "clump of cells".

    Pls go.

    No you

Or are we acting like adults capable of holding opposing views in here?

I’m going to go with the latter

The very real difference is a wanted pregnancy vs an unwanted one, in a wanted pregnancy one can take any kind of risk to protect the potential for future human life that belongs to you. In an unwanted pregnancy the concept of being forced to give one’s life, body and health over to a potential future human is fairly abhorrent, similar one could suppose to being physically forced to donate a part of your liver to a stranger.

Dude you cant be serious. Choice has nothing to do with what you are talking about?

You are literally attempting to separate the two issues of pregnancy by 1) rape, and by 2)non-rape, and how we should view abortion in both of these cases (you are arguing abortion ok in the case of rape). The underyling difference between these two cases is, presumably, choice.

In fact, everything you are talking about seems to be hinged on that idea of choice.

I think it’s worse than that

Only in the case of a horrific attack is the pro life stance of life begins at conception and is sacrosanct negated

Because in any other case the prospective mother is just seen as a living organ donor with no rights at best or as a whore who deserves punishment by removal of inalienable rights over her own body and life

Agree, but also with c-sections, the legit chance of the mother being truly in peril are near zero.

OP, 22 weeks or brain activity -- that's my cut off. Once it's brain is functioning, it's a person and that person has rights.
