    Squat goals

6'0, 180 lb, 28, framing carpenter for living and did sports all my life. I do some lifting with the arms but stopped doing squats bc I took it too far maxing out one day for fun and a muscle strain kept me out of work for two weeks. I have a squat rack and want to get back into it 3-4 times a week. My main goal is to get as strong as possible mainly to beast it at work. So my long term goals don't include being comfortable with 500 lbs, but I wouldn't mind making 400 a good max. How do I get there safely and properly? No rush
