Best cuts of Steak while dieting? Best Tenderizer?

Just curious to see what's your favorite Cuts of steak to eat while on a diet? Really looking for some choices that Is decently affordable and tender and decently lean.

I've attempted London Broil many times using the Pan to Oven method / Grill / Pan and it always comes out rough/chewy even when its pink in the middle.

Fillet. Leanest and pretty much impossible to mess up, also no need to tenderise. If you want to eat cheap cuts, throw them in the slow cooker (brown before or after).

    Filet Mignon all day.

Use lemon juice, salt it, cook it low and slow (depending on how you like it and thickness of steak).

This, with fat cut off around the perimeter prior to BBQ'n and picking cuts that have the least amount of visible fat. Don't forget to keep the rest of your day fairly low in fat when you plan to eat steak.

Fillet mignon is lean but too chewy for my liking.

I've never eaten a steak out of a pan that wasn't chewy. I BBQ as follows: pre heat BBQ to highest heat setting and let it heat up for atleast 15min (fair warning: if you have a really dirty BBQ, it could engulf in flames, srs). Sear both sides of steak about a min (with heat cranked), turn down heat to 400ish and BBQ both sides for another 2-3 min each. This is for medium steak about an inch thick. Red wine helps to tenderize the steak but I have also had chewy steak when marinating with red wine so IMO, it comes down to the steak itself in terms of being chewy. As you may know, its also more chewy when cooked closer to well done. Thou does not deserve to eat steak if eaten well done
