    Chores that count as workout

Are there any house chores that I can replace my daily workout with in worst cases where I really can't go to the gym

    Do bodyweight work at home.
I would suggest "life line straps"that hook up behind a door with no damage to door or frame.
You can do a lot of exercises with them.
If you search online you'll find out the variety of movements and different difficulty levels.
I have a set and love them.
Chores really any chores where you keep moving will help burn calories but in a LISS (low intensity steady state) fashion.
Nothing really to help build muscle really.

Do you dead lift your couch a lot? j.k. You aren't going to get an anaerobic workout, doing chores, that would match lifting weights. If you can't go to the gym, you'd still need to do push ups, pull ups, bw squats and sit ups to get noticeable changes in your physique and strength. That being said, if you are going from completely untrained, not even housework before, then doing chores will give you better cardiovascular endurance and minimal structural muscle gains. little > nothing.

there is really nothing like going to gym, I tried and it didn't work. Firewood perhaps most demanding, but then how much firewood do you really need? The thing about household chores is that you cannot cherry pick the ones you like, that is why we call them chores.

Unless you live on a farm, ranch or Japanese style house on the wrong side of the tracks in Reseda, I don't think you can replace your daily workouts w/ chores. If you can't make it to the gym, just do home-based workouts like other ppl do.

My wife often views sex as a chore. The fact that she gets a workout is part of the problem.
