Lonzo Ball is soft af. His plus minus is awful...he thinks he’s a shooter now. He misses way too many games.
Melli is a walking trash can.
Trade JJ. He is useless on the Pelicans because we have zero set plays. What a complete oversight in putting together this fukn team.
Pels are going back to the lottery. Hopefully it forces the firing of Gentry. Griffin is losing credibility the longer he backs him.

I think he had some potential, clearly his defense and passing are well above league average
he just isn't a very good shooter, not just percentage wise. He get's most of his 3s from catch and shoot and if he is wide open. not a threat to take them if a defender is within the vicinity of his shot. And he certainly isn't creating his own 3 point shot based on most of his 3s being assisted. overall scoring is very limited, not having a mid-range shot and only really being able to get layups off of good passing and bad defenses. he's not really stretching the floor much either and it is this precisely that limits other parts of his game and his effectiveness from triple-threat position
and above all he's just injury prone af, but with shot mechanics like his he will never become a versatile and elite shooter. theres a difference between lonzo shooting 34% from 3 and a difference between harden shooting 34% from three. none of these numbers look at how the threes were generated and the circumstances under which they were made.

Agreed, whats the bull case on him? i.e., what needs to happen for him to achieve median outcome?
I think just being a servicable shooter off ball will make him a postiive value-add palyer (he currently is not right now imo)
hes not dynamic enough to be an offensive engine so he'll always be a complimentary offensive option and perimeter defender. just having shooters respect his shot will work wonders★|★ Seahawks ★|★ Mariners ★|★

knicks are a fuking trainwreck. really no hope in sight. no direction. barrett hitting that rookie wall too after looking pretty good through the first 15 or so games.
dame was hitting video game shots tonight. makes you wish the game was a little closer, he could've had 50 easy. it's a lot of fun to watch him play. he's an easy guy to root for.
melo didn't look so good. got his numbers up to respectable looking during garbage time(the entire 2nd half tonight was garbage time).
when/if nurk comes back, they're gonna be able to trade whiteside and a pick for one of gallinari/aldridge/love and he's gonna lose a lot of his minutes. he's talking the talk now, it'll be interesting to see if he's still talking it when he's playing behind one of those guys. he seems genuinely humbled though.

Clippers #2 in the West with PG playing 15 games and Kawhi with 19 thus far
remember when they said the Clippers didn't have enough help for Kawhi when he came
LMAO
On the other hand AD/Lebron have only missed 1 game between them (and both logging 34+ mpg), and we know AD won't hold up for the entire season without missing a stretch
