Question Can I combine P/P/L and 5x5 stronglift?

I am a beginner in terms of lifting and am skinny and looking to put on muscle mass and had heard 5x5 stronglift is very effective for hypertrophy and strength. I currently do Push/Pull/Legs 6 days a week and was wondering if I could combine the both? For example a push exercise would be 50kg Bench press 5 reps and 5 sets.

What exactly are you thinking about doing? List the exercises, sets and reps for each day.

Mixing a PPL with Stronglifts sounds impossible. SL is a basic strength program, PPL is an intermediate/advanced hypertrophy template.

If you want to gain strength and size, just follow SL and eat to grow. In 6 months or so, do Madcow or find an Upper-Lower. You might never need a PPL 6 days a week. It's just too much volume for the average person to recover from, and recovery is one of the most important factors in consistently growing.

i did this when i got frustrated with not seeing any results from 5x5.

    PUSH
    bench
    ohp
    skullcrushers
    dips

    PULL
    deadlift
    row
    pullup
    curls

    LEGS
    Squats
    Leg Press
    Hamtring Curls
    Calf Raises

worked pretty well for me. but im not sure about running this 6 days a week, maybye 3 is plenty.
