So as the title suggest, I follow CICO and it's been working great.
However today I ate only pizza and my workout sucked, it was awful compared to me eating like 500-1100g potatoes or throwing in cake/cookies.
I was wondering what is the logic behind that? I hit all the macros, I even had more carbs than usual, so does it digest slower or something?
Is this in my head or is it an actual thing?

I wouldn't attribute your subpar workout to just the pizza. So many factors involved. Were you well rested, hydrated, training at same time, stressed etc..?
Could be many things. If potatoes and cookies do the job for you then stick to that. Rest days have pizza - as an example.Last edited by 1MANU; 10-15-2019 at 07:47 PM.
