^^^For above, please read below
Anti-racism Declaration of LIHKG (amended and finalized)
We, as Hong Kongers and LIHKG users, would like to express our most profound regret for a small number of LIHKG users using abusive, racially charged language against LeBron James as an ethnic minority. Such violations of ethnic equality should be heavily condemned to uphold the values of racial justice.
We would like to clarify that the vast majority of us judge LeBron James' response to Daryl Morey's tweet based on his response and attitude alone, but not ethnicity or colour of his skin. Thus, those racist comments against LeBron James shall and will never represent the population of Hong Kongers and LIHKG users.
The concept of Hong Kongers is not bound by religion, race and ethnicity, whoever upholds the core values of Hong Kong (freedom, liberty & democracy) and have compassion for our city can be deemed as a true Hong Konger regardless of race and ethnicity. In fact, many of our bravest freedom fighters and supporters are Southern Asians or Eastern Asians, some of them are immigrants from other provinces of China, and some of them are political refugees from other countries as well. Their bravery in pursuing and supporting freedom for the future generations of Hong Kongers is widely praised by Hong Kongers just like any other freedom fighters who contributed to this crusade.
We firmly believe that human dignity should be respected regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation and religion, this is why we put up this social movement against the invasion of totalitarianism in Hong Kong and the horrifying human conditions in China. We would stand in solidarity with the Tibetans, Uyghur Muslims, oppressed Christians, any other persecuted ethnic minorities and all political dissidents in China in the pursuant of universal values stated in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Sounds like your trying to sweep the racists under the rug over there.. Bron NEVER endorsed China. He never disowned the protest. He spoke on things that are happening to him and people around him, having to answer to geo political issues halfway across the world. If you believe that Lebron could do ANYTHING against the Chinese government by talking, seek mental help immediately.

Well its a good thing I have a thinking brain and can actually read comments and come up with things on my own. He talked about Morey and MOREY SPECIFICALLY. That he was misinformed to speak on something and not know the ramifications of his actions which would throw NBA players and employees into the fire they are not prepared for ON CHINESE SOIL.. Interesting considering that Morey himself SAID HE WAS MISINFORMED IN AN APOLOGY TWEET.
He already said he is not getting into the actual subject matter, because guess what.. he doesn't know the in's and out's of the issues halfway across the world.. the same with 95% of the US

Interesting that everyone knows and even grandma know that Morey apologized for the money NOT misinformed.
Why should "Support freedom and stand with Hong Kong" have any negative consequences to begin with? Even if that statement might have negative consequences on financial part(which is absurd by the way), what about the part that it might have a positive impact on the Hong Kong freedom movement? We can say Morey sure did apology for the money not misinformed.
I guess LeMao is educated enough on the profit part in China but not on human right. That's clear for sure.

Dude if anything, you need mental help. You have an unhealthy and abnormal obsession with Qing James. I am yet to hear one critique of Qing James come out of you. Like you must admit that there is some fault lines in what he said, it wasnt perfect by any means.
Sure, Qing James cant change what the CCP does, but he is an american, he can endorse freedom of speech without consequences, he can endorse democracy, but he choses not to. Which kind of goes against his persona of being an outspoken SJW.
How hard is it to be pro democracy? Not very...

The fact that you expect an athlete from half a world away to somehow be a savior for China speaks volumes. Someone who in all reality CANNOT MAKE A DIFFERENCE over there. He has his own people to worry about besides trying to go toe to toe with a communist government. Lebron is good, but what about all those other NBA players who will lose out on a pool of billions if he decides to speak out on something that he can't fix and something he doesn't fully understand to begin with. China backs out of advertising, NBA loses out on billions.. less money salary wise for ALL NBA players.
Sometimes the best thing to do with something you don't understand, is to leave it to others who do understand. Which is exactly what Bron did

Strawman argument. Dont switch it up on him. Who even mentioned what were going to do to target the dictatorship... why do you bring this up. No one cares about this. stay on topic
You can accept that you did admit that its okay to stay silent about dictatorships as long as money is involved.... right?
