    Compound exercises

    Ive started training 2 months ago and put off the big lifts because my form is bad, I’m not going to sacrifice gains any longer so I’m focusing on my form big time now

    How long did it take before you could execute a perfect squat and deadlift?

    I personally suck at squatting and I've been doing it for a few years now.

    My Deadlift is stronger and I enjoy it but it's also kinda ugly.

    I think my bench is my best in terms of form and coincidentally I've been doing it the longest

    Bench - 235x9, 250x5, 270x1
    Squat - 295x8, 355x1
    Deadlift - 430x11, 445x8 455x7, 475x5, 495x1
    OHP - 145x10, 150x9, 165x5, 190x1(@180 bw)
    3 mile run: 21:59 @ 170 bw.

    Obviously never perfect.
    Bench always just felt natural.
    Deadlift is pretty good and I got form ok pretty quick, but I switched to sumo which just feels natural.
    Squat felt weird as hell for many months. Just switched to low bar squats recently which feels much more natural. Still always gotta be on top of form. Not sure if squats will ever feel "right" the way bench and sumo do.

    It's just one of those things that takes time and I would say I'm certainly not tip top form on any of the excersises, I think alot has to do with your body type as well which you will find. I for example cannot back squat for the life of me so do front squats only now, as long as you are performing the excersise safely with at least some good form you will be fine and can improve little by little.
