Best friend married a girl, her dad had a lot of money so she racked up TONS of debt because fuk it daddy is rich. Except she racked it up while married. Now they are divorced and he had to take half the debt.
Luckily he makes money now but holy fuk, when he let it spill... I would have killed her.

Not seen but there was a study on how american football players with insane wealth go bankrupt fast. No. 1 on the losses? Divorce.
Damn he's pretty lucky. Arn't some states in the US where after a certain amount of time you are liable even if it's not yours?
France is savage. Paternity tests are illegal and you can get jail time in order to "protect French families".*trying to be a zoomer but still a doomer crew*

Not as bad as the divorce stories but a friend of mine was recently King Arthuring some sloot whose "boyfriend" was paying her a salary along with all her expenses covered (food, gas, car, etc.). She didn't do chit but cuck him into oblivion everyday. Her friends were on a similar plan wit their "boyfriends" and cheating on them as well. I think when you get so dependent on someone, you despise them enough to warrant this behavior but at the end of the day it's self inflicted and gets worse as they lose their youthful glow.
Best part is, that these guys were paying these girls like $5k/month for years but were barely making more than that themselves. I feel no sympathy for them.

Divorce.
She kept the house, the kids, and since she was a "homemaker" she got alimony, child support and the fancy car.
He moved into a trailer park close to his job. Got caught stealing at work, got fired. Due to the pressure, he killed himself.Thus let me live, unseen, unknown;
Thus unlamented let me die;
Steal from the world, and not a stone
Tell where I lie.

My friend's brother (from a small town up north) married a girl from the reserve. She wanted a big house and he was handy so he got them in over their heads building a big house they couldn't afford thinking he'd do some of the work himself.
He had to work mad hours to keep up the payments. Didn't have the time to work on the house as he planned. She hardly worked (might have worked like part time at a Subway or something). He had to take work out of town to try and pay bills. She'd use his credit cards to run up debt and invited her friends over to keep her company. They ended up living there. Didn't contribute anything. Leeched off him. Luckily his friends caught her red-handed cheating on him (with one of her "friends" who lived there) and he got out of that mess of a marriage before the debt could get worse.
