Always feel tired. No matter how much I sleep.

Anyone got any recommendations on what is wrong with me?

I take a multi and also take a vitamin d specific pill.

I wake up at 6AM for work everyday but how do i get a lot more energy through the day?

Do you snore / could you have sleep apnea? It's not just overweight and obese people that can have it. You should have a sleep study done if you haven't already.

Even if you know for sure it's not sleep apnea (unless someone has watched you sleep or you've done a study before, not sure how you'd know) you should still do one to see how good your sleep actually is.

How much caffeine do you have before you sleep? What's your diet like?

You are going to wake up in the morning unable to move and wanting to give up because you are sore in places you didn't know could even be worked. I'm not telling you it's going to be easy. In fact, it'll probably be one of the hardest things you'll ever do. But I'm telling you it's going to be worth it."

a study took place in japan that showed that drinking 8oz of water right when getting out of bed is more efficient than coffee at getting everything "moving" so to speak.

try eating whole foods, meditate (aka just take deep breaths into your stomach and focus on it), stretch? maybe just burnt out?

This. Talk to your doctor about a sleep test. I'm a little older than most if you and not overweight. However I have sleep apnea. I sleep with a CPAP. The quality of my sleep with the CPAP is remarkable compared to without.

A few years ago I would sleep 8,9 sometimes 10 hours a night but I'd wake up feeling like I slept for 2 hours.

Turns out I had a gluten intolerance and it was messing with the absorption of food, therefore I had a complete lack of energy and it didn't matter how much I slept.

You need to certainly consider any personal issues that are eating at you as this could be psychological or emotional in addition to any nutritional deficiency/diet. Anything you need to address that you're putting off? We all have something that we avoid at times.

Also as others have said, life in general coupled with many things on your mind will wear you down. Just have to prioritize what you can actually control vs what you can't. Also consider mental health - Too much constant stimulation from devices, online dating, fapping, video games...these types of habits can cause depression/sluggishness. Smile, take cold showers, socialize, exercise, stretch, even doing something nice/volunteering...These simple things can work wonders as well.

Could also be weather related/allergies. In FL, I get run down towards the end of the summer from the constant heat/humidity. Either way, hope you solve it brah. You got the holidays around the corner to look forward to.

Lastly, consider what times you sleep at. If you go to bed at 4am, doesn't matter if you get 10 hours of sleep, your rhythm is disrupted. Sleep normal hours, if you don't already. And no melatonin or anything. try and keep it natty if you can.

Could be a lot of reasons, but try getting at least 8 hours of sleep each day for a month and report back (srs). Not 4 hours here, 10 hours there, 6 hours sometimes and 9 hours other times. At least 8 every day.
A lot or people just donโ€™t sleep enough.

If you did that and still have issues, cut sugar/coffein more or less out or your diet.

If still nothing, see a doctor.

I only began to have this problem when I began working at a job I absolutely hated. There is no escaping being exhausted all the time if you hate your life. The problem is that you are spiritually drained. It is total drudgery. You need to find a cause that you are passionate about try to make money working towards that cause. It's the only way boyo.

Since I've gotten older and started being more conscious of my hydration now my issue with sleep is simply peeing at night or getting boners that wake me up because I have to pee.

What you brahs that drink water all day do? I try to stop drinking liquids by like 7pm but I'm in bed at like 9 and it feels like it hasn't flushed itself out yet.

I feel the same way. Sometimes I tell myself I need more sleep so I will get 9 hours a few nights in a row and it changes nothing. I catch myself doing very strange things in my sleep on a regular basis so I don't think I have good sleep habits.

I'm tired all the damn time, all I can do to get it out of that mode is bust ass when I get to work/ the gym or whatever. Just get a little adrenaline flowing some exhilaration from doing physical stuff. I've never had any type of desk job though so I don't know how that would apply to someone with a more easy going job. As soon as I get my body doing a lot of work it feels like everything wakes up. Caffeine does deplete your adrenal gland leaving you feeling tired same thing with nicotine and other stimulants, though I use both nicotine and caffeine in extreme amounts.

And no melatonin or anything. try and keep it natty if you can.
thanks for the input brah. I have zero stress at all. I sleep around 11-12 every night and wake up at 6AM. but even on days where i get like 8-10 hours of sleep I am still tired. Last doctor visit I went to I asked him to do a test for vitamin deficiency and he said i am strongly lacking in vitamin D so he prescribed me some pills and ive been taking over the counter since.

They strap you up with sensors and wires and you sleep on a hospital bed.

They count how many times you wake up, how many apnea (holding/stopping breathing) events you have, blood oxygenation levels and chit like that. If you have apnea you do another one with an apnea mask on and see how you respond.

I was so bad it was to the point I was falling asleep if I sat down for a minute. Elevated BP or nighttime heartburn/reflux is a symptom as well.

I sleep with one of these now

Goes on your nose. I hated it at first, but I sleep so much better I hate being without it now.

How uncomfortable is it, and how long did it take you to get used to it? My mom has it, and she stopped using it because of how unconformable it was.

I was 100% on board after a few weeks. You start to realize stuff like being able to function after 9:00pm, not hating mornings, not getting severe hangovers, not getting extra sick when you get a cold or something isn't something you have to live with, but the mask is.

I'm not going to pretend its not a pain in the ass and really sucks at first, but its a health/quality of life thing so you have to lean into it. You play with a few types of masks, adjust the pressures and humidity, learn how to position yourself sleeping a little better and it gets way easier.

Bonus nobody tells you about is now in winter you can open the window and sleep with covers right up over your head.
