Yes I do think that when you are doing something this big - Trying to remove a sitting president - You should look to how things were done in the past. Similar to how court cases work, there is a precedent there, why not follow it?
It comes off as just being very shady and trying to do everything behind closed doors and scheme. I think if you need a strategy for impeachment you're highlighting how ridiculous and unnecessary everything is
I would definitely rather these paid officials spend their time doing something better. There are a lot more important issues they could be tackling IMO
