I got lucky with a milf Wednesday night.
I just happened to get queue in Sony Direct and when I was up I could’ve clicked the console but scrolled down and clicked on digital instead. When I got to checkout I proudly clicked purchase. It was a gay old time yet I didn’t eat any weiners at a picnic with my dAd on that day! LolBLM (Brock Lesnar Matters)

eb games was not selling ps5s online and canada was locked down for about a month at some point last winter. i went to eb games on the first day they opened after the lockdown (since they had probably stocked up during the lockdown) and got my hands on one
fukkers forced everyone to buy a second controller, which reminded me why i had not shopped at eb games in over 5 years

RE8 looks and works absolutely incredible on PS4. Doesn't have ray tracing etc - I'm not a graphics nut so I don't know all the bells and whistles but it's easily one of the best looking games on PS4. And unlike some system-pushing games like Control, it's been rock solid performance with surprisingly quick load times. Amazing what kind of performance Capcom was able to get out of last-gen systems.
Sony could honestly have waiting another year to release the PS5 (it's hard enough to get one they practically did huehue).Smooth Seas don't make Strong Sailors. Keep your head up.

Loading from death is about the same as Bloodborne srs. During normal gameplay there haven't been loads at all - I assume it's going on in the background during the many, many scripted scenes.
EDIT: just opened the game for the night. Initial load from clicking load game to gameplay was 23 secondsLast edited by MrBourbon; 05-11-2021 at 04:48 PM.

spiderman miles morales is probably the only game from insomniac that has really disappointed me. I think im nearing the end
- chit characters
- chit dialogue
- excessive amounts of pretentious techy chit
- way too short (i think main story will end up being less than 6 hours)
- the ratio of grinding side activities to main story is excessive. if you only play the main story, you will not get enough skill points and tokens to unlock a significant amount of skills/gadget upgrades/suits
- the villains suck
- the price of the game is inexcusable for the amount of content it offers. 90% of it is grinding side activities. glad i borrowed it from a friend
7/10 at most for me. if any of you guys wanna play it, then wait for a deeeeeep sale
EDIT: the best developpers have been so disappointing lately (insomniac, cdpr, naughty dog). hopefully that trend ends with ratchet and clankLast edited by Lastro; 05-13-2021 at 09:21 AM.

I disagree with everything except that the story sucks, but I am not into comic books so I knew that wasn't going to hit for me going into it. Miles Morales does combat and overall game performance top notch, and that is where it shines IMO.
I am not butthurt about cost, but I got it with Spiderman Remastered and the two experiences together with all Spiderman DLC was well worth the cost for me, someone who never played Spiderman. Yea, probably wouldn't pay 40$ for MM on it's on, but waiting for a sale is always consumer decision, not something to be angry about IMO. Most games drop well over 50% during sales in just a year.
For me I am very happy I bought it.

i had already played the first spiderman and all its dlc before playing miles morales so i'm looking at miles morales alone and as a sequel. there's no way to justify the price tag if you are someone who, like me, had already played the previous spiderman and all its dlc and only wanted play morales. the fact that you can't buy morales on its own sucks. if they had done with morales what naughty dog did with uncharted lost legacy (shorter game, cheaper price tag), then I would have been fine with it
you are right regarding combat and performance (dem loading times), but they both apply to the first spiderman on ps5. so as a sequel, i really don't see what it offers that the first spiderman didn't (other than venom powers, but then again you have less gadgets). in fact, it's a step back in pretty much every way.

I’m glad returnal has been well received and fans are enjoying it. It’s like my first Ps5 exclusive where I’ll wait for price drop. Not new, But will still buy the game down the road. Kind of like I expect the next god of war to be. But maybe I’m wrong. It would need to outdo the 2018 game in every aspect.

For an FPS boost? Nah, I'm still holding out for more.
However, Naughty Dog director of communications Arne Meyer adds, "The team has been digging into the PS5 hardware and the possibilities it unlocks since launch last year and we’re excited about what the future holds. This patch is just the first step of working on the PS5. We’ll let you know when we’ve got more news to share!"

Is Valhalla that good? I remember seeing a bunch of mixed comments about it.
So I'm guessing these are the "must plays" currently.

IMO Valhalla is "good" but I wouldn't say its great...its a bag of mixed berries..you're gonna love parts of it and hate parts of it..its absolutely BEAUTIFUL, lore is amazing but theres too much filler content IMO...like yeah you CAN log 100+ hours easily but i completely burned out near the end of the game. I'm not the type to complain about content but when it just feels added on to add hours its just a drag. This is coming from a huge AC fan.. black flag and origins were still better to me

Do you like the franchise? For me, I give zero fuks about the overarching story or the modern day stuff. I really enjoyed Valhalla though because I find the setting very interesting. The setting makes these games imo. If you are into Vikings or have ever watched shows like Vikings or The Last Kingdom, you’ll probably enjoy it.
