So just finished TLOU2. What an absolute misery simulator. Goddamn lol feels like I need a day in a hot spring or something to cleanse myself. Bloody brilliant game though, esp when it comes to the visuals and all the small details they put into the world. Game ended up feeling way longer than I thought it would, and as I hoped it got alot better as it went on however there were some parts about it that were questionable and had me scratching my head as to why they went that route.

The decision of Ellie to abandon her family and go through all that trouble risking her life, murdering so many people to get to Abby, only to spare her in the end made absolutely no fuking sense. Why would she feel more sorry for Abby than all the people she had to mow down to get to her? People who did her no direct harm btw. I am so confused by that choice. Anyway gotta admit the game made Ellie look pretty lame and Abby much cooler. It definitely pushes you to side with and feel more sorry for Abby, especially with how she looked at the end, emaciated and dying but not caring about her own life but to save the boy. And especially how they made Ellie threaten to kill the boy to get Abby to fight. Like goddamn Abby could do no wrong in this game, they were so on the nose about trying to make her the hero of the story. Hey, it's their story to tell but it didn't sit well with me seeing Ellie change into so much of a kunt in this game to make Abby their golden child. They did my girl Ellie dirty. Still a great game overall though, extremely high quality and intense. The final convo with Joel and Ellie really tugged at the heartstrings

Thumbsticks should be symmetrical as God intended.

For souls games, absolutely better to have the offset thumbstick.

For Tony Hawk, take the Play Station for sure but it's not 1999 so the jury is out. Not sure about GoW, haven't installed it yet, going to play Bloodbourne and Demon's Souls first.

How is it better though if both hands are the same size. I this is on account of you just being accustomed to offset. You'll adjust, the dualsense is the most premium feeling controller I ever had.

While I really enjoyed bloodborne, I haven't gone back to it because that 30fps is jarring as hell. It's a good idea to play that first before you get used to next gen games. Wait till you move on to Demon's Souls though, the jump in graphics and frame rate is gonna floor you. Especially combining those with the the ps5 haptics. Trying to play a game without haptics now just feels wrong.

Coal the end talk really tugged at my heartstrings but the “ other” convo…hit me harder than Joel (Tlou 1 spoiler which every last one of us should have played by now) lying to Ellie in the first one. I agree the end showdown outcome should have been different. Way different. Could have done it Way better. Like the opposite of what they did.

I was on CBR a board Fnatic frequented too. I was a DC guy and he a Marvel nerd. We’d always take potshots at each others brand. Just once we had a vicious argument about them and didn’t talk for months on any boards and I was on his ignore list during that time.

It was about a Wolverine and whether or not he could drown.

Gave all my physical copies to a nephew and his mom took them and sold for drug money.

I still have some in my kindle reader.. I still use kindle yes! Marvels guys were relateable more whereas dc superheroes were larger than life.

For the love of God, play the first game (Zero Dawn Complete edition) before Forbidden West. FW is a direct sequel that takes place days later and you're gonna be missing a ton of lore and exactly what the journey means to the protag. Will enhance your experience of the new game 4x the amount.

I know the graphics of ZD are outdated but it honestly still looks good on my OLED and has a PS5 patch for smooth frames. Comes with a spectacular DLC too.

It IS damn good. Some of those machines are too majesty to kill at first. Then after you die a good bit you start to see them differently and you DO want to kill them. Furiously in my case.

I sat through the cutscenes. I don’t think I’ll make it to FW or replay ZD because man, Lance Riddick was so brilliant in that game and it just is too much. Can they remake it without the character he portrayed so beautifully?

I think you should def try FW someday man. The story isn't quite as good as ZD, but it's still great. But for me the highlight is just the immersion. Towns and outposts with people moving about their routes, practicing fighting with each other in the background, dudes getting drunk and stumbling outside the pubs etc. It does alot to really make you feel like you're in the world.

With respect to Lance, it's a massive shame because he was THE anti-hero to Aloy. Imo his role was almost as important as hers. And without selling anything out I'll just say they set him up to be a major role in the final game. There's no way the series ends without him so I truly hope they keep Sylens and give him the ending I know Lance would have wanted for his character.

Did you use the Transfer account thing at the start of setup?

Otherwise you would have needed PSN+ and have auto upload of save files turned on. You could also just transfer the save files manually with a usb stick.

Try on a different TV or monitor. If it's the same issue I'd have them replace your console because the issue may be a faulty HDMI cable. I've had my first ps5 for a year and bought a second one like 4 months ago? I haven't had a single flicker.

i guess its my tv.never seen anything like this.its got 2 120hz hdmi ports.one with arc and another won.its works fine in the arc port but not the other one.it works fine with my ps4 though.im so confused.im really starting to regret buying this ps5
