I don’t even bother using the stick to try to rotate it. I just let the ball rotate and when it hits the gap in the circle hit R2. You have to get it 4 times I think.

Re Submissions, I really can’t help you there. My created guy doesn’t really have them/I don’t use them. I have the death lock with a downloaded Sting, the pattern can be predictable. It’ll only use X Square and Circle so I try to anticipate it.

Anyone played Control?

I just got past the first boss. Game is like a semi horror mixed with some Kojima nonsensical weirdness. But the mystery still has me hooked and combat is fun. Gotta say the environment is pretty boring, running from office to office inside a giant maze building isn't the most entertaining but I'm still enjoying the game overall. I'd give it a 7/10 so far.

Found it super boring tbh. I did my best to like it, take it slow and get into the atmosphere, but just silly little things like a retarded map, an even more retarded checkpoint system and the amount of useless backtracking really soured me on the game.


Stop being a phaagot and go play Alan Wake 2, it's miles above and so far ahead of control or any other game that Remedy has gone. I didn't even have to play AW1 to enjoy it. AW2 was incredible and felt like the studio firing on all cylinders after working on all the games they've developed so far.

Alright mane I'll def look to pick it up @christmas sale. I'm saving newer games for the Pro. Finished Control but it was def a drag finding the locations and the story wasn't my cup of tea. Still had some cool parts though.

Anyways since we've been down I have been playing Rebirth and the first thing that comes to mind is ho lee chit, I cannot believe they packed so much content into this. I complained so much that Remake just felt like a corridor simulator and it feels like devs made Rebirth just to clown me because this game is just so much more expansive in every way. I'm loving the hell out of it, easily one of the best games I've ever played.

Been slowly playing through your be a pro career in WWE. Just defeated Kane in the casket match. Toughest so far. Wouldn’t have been that bad if I knew confidently how to get him in the casket. Had to time it perfect. I’m sure there is an easier way.

Gotta say even as an openworldcel I'm getting tired of FF Rebirth's world activities. You know the kind... Climb and activate tower to reveal map, find areas of interest to scan etc. It was kinda tolerable for the first two areas, by the 3rd it started really dragging and now I'm in the 4th which is insufferable. The areas are also not the most fun to navigate and figure out where the spots are, especially this Gongaga region which is so poorly designed. Also, I'm kinda tired of mini games for every fuking thing lmao.

Shame because I really enjoy the characters, combat, music, storylines and even the side quests. I'm gonna feel like jumping off a cliff if I leave Gongaga only to reach a 5th area with a new series of this chit to do. Imo they should be drastically reduced to improve the pacing of the story itself.
