How come brah? I was PS4 also but I'm looking to switch to the Xbox due to 20% more power, same loading times, more frames(cod is 120fps on xbox, 60 fps on ps5) so I reckon future games will be similar frames too. Gamepass is a great deal also as it's only a little bit more than xbox membs.

My only issue is I've got ps4 accessories that'll work on my PS5(logitech g29 steering wheel setup + headset) and my library of games.

I think it all comes down to if you enjoy the ps exclusives, I'm more in to 3rd party games like PUBG, WZ, RB6 etc so think I'm more suited for xbox.

Seems like it might really just come down to how the games are optimized? Like in AC Valhalla, the PS5 is dumpstering the series X by a wide margin

Interesting, I was thinking this may be the case. I actually was planning to get a Series S along with the ps5 but I'm reconsidering it now. Probably just gonna wait for the "pro" version now lol

You you aren't interested into PS exclusives the Series X is the easy answer right now, IMO. I have so far been pretty happy with the performance gap in the few mutliplats though, it hasn't been that bad. I assume COD has some sort of issue because Series X shouldn't be doubling the frame of PS5 if everything else is equal.

Astros is a fun little platformer. I’ll probably try to complete it at some point. 100% the first two levels before I switched. Demon’s Souls gonna be goty though.

Headset is very nice imo as well. I’m really liking the accessories. When I’m done, I just slap the controller into the charging station.

The whole thing is just really nice.

Yeah it shouldn't be doubling the frames, especially at the start of this gen; I do reckon over the period of this generation though the XSX will start getting more frames in games compared to the PS5.

Just get a pc then. Series x is inferior no matter what you look at

I'm currently a PC gamer but my mate's shown me sh!t that I had no idea about, never knew how advanced hacks were on PC. He's been playing WZ for months with an aimbot/no recoil/can see all items on floor etc and once you know what to look for and when you play with a dude who's doing it himself you find every lobby is full of hackers on WZ. And if he gets banned, he just uses a hardware ID spoofer that changes his motherboard id and he's back in the game. Same with GTA Online, I've got like 900m+ from hackers/modders just dropping cash on the floor and nearly 1 in 3 lobbys there's a hacker with unlimited health etc. Tis boring.

On the console, if your console's banned you can't do shet about it. And the hacks aren't anywhere near as advanced other than that CronuxMax stuff.
Tip: Turn cross platform off on WZ, there's no point playing against pc players atm.

It's weird ain't it how XSX has been beating PS5 for loading times in games and the PS5 is beating the XSX in performance when it was meant to be the other way around.

Yeah the launch titles/exclusives for Xbox are trash in general other than Forza but I never really play exclusives anyways, the only game I wanna play is that Ghost Of Tsushima which I can just play on my PS4.
I've heard good things about the controller but idk, Sony ditches things so quickly it's hard to know if it's gonna be worth it or not. Did any legit games really use the touchpad on the PS4 controller? It was more of a gimmick, then also the PSVR has no games and has been out for years now with strong sales yet no investment with exclusives etc.

I've not seen/played with the PS5 controller yet so can't comment much on it.
Also, every article has been saying the XSX performs at 120 fps/PS5 at 60 fps so idk where they've got their info from.

PS5 is out tomorrow in the UK, not sure what I'm gonna do yet. I've got the XSX coming 2nd of December but I still might get the PS5 and cancel the XSX.

Edit: Warzone is 120 fps on XSX and 60 fps on PS5 not cold war.

^ I'd still really guess that 120 vs 60 thing is more along the lines of an error or something. I don't doubt the Series X will outperform the PS5 with some games, but not by a margin like that.

You might be watching someone who is good/played the original and knows what’s coming but if you are new to this kind of game, it definitely isn’t easy. A big part of it is the atmosphere and the idea that you’re never safe. You can’t pause it and there’s always something ready to pop out and kill you if your attention is wavering. It keeps you on edge the entire time.

Those games are known for being challenging although it's more learning attack patterns than difficult tasks from the little I have played. Still far from easy.
