lol, I remember back in 09 I was like 14 and started Crisis Core and FFVII.. fell in love with the story, played through FFVIIs ugly graphics and I remember thinking to myself what if they remade this game with (ffvii) similar to Crisis Core fighting and graphics.. 10 years later i'm wanting the release to come already. Hell even back then i'd think if they took more than 5 years i'd have zero interest since i'd be 20+ and I am still pretty excited and amazed at what they are doing to FFVII

Lol, feels. I got it for $19, which isn't too bad for how much enjoyment I'm getting from it. I mean, it's the first Naughty Dog game built for PS4 - the graphics and action are next level. Nothing will top the emotional hit of TLOU but from a technical/gameplay perspective this game is even better.

I buy everything digital, but I play almost zero games at release - if you're okay with being ~6 months behind everyone else you can save a chit ton of money. Only games I've bought at launch this generation were Doom Eternal and God of War (and GOW was because I bought the hype from you ****s).

Amazon prime usually is quick and even ahead of schedule not its 3-5 days instead of < 2.

I learned that now. Unless I REALLY want the game, no more day 1. Though here, pre-order AAA games you get some cool shirts or keychains or such, which is cool.

The combat in the new one is better, but they added platforming sections which some dislike. You also have to use all your tools (certain weapons counter certain enemies etc) so you can't just use the shotgun the entire game.

If you like PVE fps games both are incredible.

My initial thought was this but after going back to Doom eternal I now prefer it. I really enjoy how it's a FPS / platformer and finding secrets but a lot of people do not like that.
Worth the full price I paid so far but I mean wtf else can we all do?

I think it's a pretty safe bet that the PS5 is cheaper than the XseX but who knows where each land.
