Yeah they use the exact same architectures too, NAVI 2 and Zen 2 for GPU/CPU. So any comparison like teraflops is an apple to apple comparison. Any differences in core counts or clock speed is apples to apples.


Theyre better off just entering at a lower price point and arguing their game library is superior so that a trade off in power isnt a big deal.

xbox one x is more powerful than ps4 pro but not enough to make me switch over all my chit. Ive had PSN since ps3, Im not switching everything over just because next gen xbox is 10% faster.

Like I said before if I wanted to I could already have a very high end pc build by now around $4-5k but I just don’t want one... pc gaming just isn’t for me at all.

But I was hoping ps5 went all in to create the best damn console that would edge Xbox series x in all aspects of the game.

Sorry brah. Yet to play the game. My backlog is long like my GIANT D. But in games like that, I wanna choose skill that I like... that is more me. I dont really rely on other people's preferred build. Want to make the character more personal.

I’m playing a ****load on PS4 past week. I love it honestly!!!!!!

Sonic forces is the best sonic game of all time. It might be my next plat. Haven’t got one since Spider-Man .

I feel a bit better after finally getting to the Digital Foundry video but I am still dissapointed AF. Gun to my head today I go PS5 over XseX but it's close for me. Will be interesting to see what else comes out over the next 6 months but MS has gone from gutter trash in the beginning of last gen to hero, they are just doing everything right. If their software lineup could compete with Sony's they would be pushing Sony out of the console market this gen from what we know as of now.

On a side note, I am absolutely enjoying Stick of Truth, game is so well done, plays like a great interactive episode of the show.

Idk. Maybe I’m just coping but everything I read makes the PS5 sound fine. Seeing a lot of talk about how developers are kinda pissed at that presentation because it made the console look bad when its actually a beast.

But yeah, I highly recommend the Digital Foundry video to anyone thats concerned.

Yeah bit disappointed sony is slightly weaker, but honestly I'm very very excited for PS5. I have a feeling that even though Xbox is stronger on paper, Sony's SSD is gonna do some damn magic.

Especially when games are undoubtedly gonna be bigger and more open, the SSD streaming will really kick into gear later down the gen. Imagine running GTA 6 with virtually no pop in, and completely seamless. It's an exciting time. I'm only on the fence with the Xbox .... If the new Xbox has sick exclusives that dont make their way to PC I'll definitely get one, but till then PS5 + PC all the way.
