    Don't Eat a Lot of Sugary food. ...
    Do Aerobic Exercise (Cardio) ...
    Cut Back on Carbs, Especially Refined Carbs.

    This ^^^.

    And get on a good weight program. Lifting weights while on a "cut" will significantly assist with body composition (protects, possibly increases muscle while losing more fat. You want to lose fat, not just weight (which would normally include muscle.))
