I'm 5'9 but mine are more 18" when flexed... Not sure when they are not flexed...
I was a broke, small guy with low self-esteem. I hated every bit of those weaknesses. Thankfully, with the right mentors in my life, I have achieved financial freedom, put on some muscle, have developed confidence/inner peace and have helped many others do the same!

5'9" 17.5 flexed....and it took over 12 years for me to get there.
Haven't been able to get over 17.75" without adding too much BF, and on my frame, 17" arms at 10% looks bigger than 17.75" in 15%......so I'm sticking with the low bf!**PUREBLOOD FOR LIFE CREW**

Was 17.25 before i busted my tendon.
I was stuck around 16 ish forever until i started benching heavy tucking the elbows in as far as i can and Moving from 8/10 reps to 12-15 on extensions. Lotsa cgbp also in the 12-15 range.
Then rowing a lot more than i previously did and curling 12-15 instead of 8-10. Basically curling every set till it hurt pretty bad. Idk if that even made a diff tho. I think it was the pulls more than anything.
Now my arms are fawking small as chit. Still bigger than average joe lifter but in the 16.5 range again (15.75 on the bad one). They are slowly coming back tho as i begin to train my bad arm again. Plan on bringin them back and over 18 reasonably lean because tee our tee now.
Edit
Not that im teaching you chit all but thats what worked for me.Distal Biceps Tendon tear crew. (07/15/19)

I really try NOT to have typical workouts. It keeps the body guessing a bit more. But one strategy I generally employ most of the time is that my aim is to warm up with ultra-light weight, then quickly get up to the heaviest weights that I can manage. I will spend the majority of my workout session in the heavier weights while my energy and strength lasts and toward the latter of my workout, I will workout with lower weights with higher reps.
By training in this manner, my goal is to become stronger and stronger, ultimately allowing me to workout with heavier weights with higher reps.I was a broke, small guy with low self-esteem. I hated every bit of those weaknesses. Thankfully, with the right mentors in my life, I have achieved financial freedom, put on some muscle, have developed confidence/inner peace and have helped many others do the same!

Well,
You have to do a lot of compound movements that engage the arms. Always do full range of motion on exercises like bench press , rows, pull ups and overhead press. Switch to a narrow grip in all of your presses. Of course, more volume. Check out dr. Mike isratel on YouTubeBlack Pill crew
