    Been Lurking: First Post

    Hello,

I've been lurking here for about a year and finally decided to go ahead and join the forums.

Started lifting regularly when I was 17 (I'm 23 now), but didn't legitimately challenge myself with it until the last three years or so. I love it, and to me, it has only gotten more rewarding and enjoyable as I have continued to go along.

I don't take any supplements (except protein powder, if that counts), and my current goal has been to increase strength, particularly with my bench. My pulling lifts have always come easier, and my bench has lagged behind a little, so improving it in particular has been the main theme for 2019.

My primary year end goal is to put up 315 for one, and 225 for 12. Right now, I am at 285 and 11, for each.

    Some sample stats:
    Bench - 1 x 285, 3 x 4 at 255, 5 x 8 at 225
    Squat - 3 x 275, 1 x 10 at 225 (this is bad, I know)
    Deadlift - 1 x 1 at 405, 4 x 8 at 315
    Barbell Curl - 2 x 135, 4 x 8 at 110
    Hammer Curl - 2 x 70, 4 x 8 w/ 55s
    Bent Over Row - 4 x 8 at 205

6'2" and 235 lbs, probably a little more than 20% bodyfat. That's more than I would like to have but I'm not very concerned with it while I am training for strength.

Hey all, glad these forums are here.

    EDIT: I don't know why it says I'm 49. I'm 23 lol.

Your bench has really good potential with the 5x8 at 225, seems like a really good starting point.
    OHP - 225
    B - 335
    S - 365
    D - 525
