Let's hope for no quick KO/TKO's tonight, because this has the potential to be a striking fan's dream fight. Whitaker's solid boxing will be on display as well as Adesanya's flashy kickboxing.
Key things to consider:
Whitaker has been off for a long time and has not fought much in recent years.
Adesanya has been very active.
How much of a toll did ten rounds of fighting Yoel Romero take on Whitaker's career? It's a legitimate question. Look what happened to JDS after his wars with Cain as one example.
Iaquinta/Hooker is a solid co-main event. Other big news on this card are Tai Tuivasa, Dhiego Lima (Bellator ex-champ Douglas Lima's brother for those who don't know), Jake Matthews and Megan Anderson.
Solid card. I know the people of Australia and New Zealand are excited for it because of this rivalry I keep hearing about.

"I would fight anyone of the UFC LW's, but the problem is that I will never put my foot in the octagon after they (UFC) tried to be funny, I would rather have bleeding hemorrhoids than fight for the UFC. I would rather have one true Japanese MMA supporter than one million fake mainstream supporters that will turn their back on you as soon as you lose a fight. - Joachim Hansen

He always was. You just need to watch him long enough. He literally told a 19 year old kid that he will "never amount to anything professionally and that his parents don't love him" because he said James Rodriguez "has his moments but is overrated"
Also makes fun of the South but raves about Colombia - a ******* machete dystopia.

I'm a fan of both Bobby Knuckles & Izzy. I want Izzy to win this, but I'm ok with either being champ. If this fight was 2 years ago, I'd pick Robert by KO without hesitation. BUT... We don't know IF or HOW getting beaten to death twice by Romero affected him. Could he follow in RoryMac's footsteps after the Lawler fights?
That's the big unknown to me. Outside of that Izzy is the better striker, but Robert is the more powerful & durable fighter overallOur lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter - Martin Luther King, Jr.
I'm not saying I'm sorry. One day, maybe, we'll meet again - Jared Leto, 30 Seconds To Mars
