    Haven't been on this forum in a long time but figured it was a great place to get some help and advice. First time I have ever posted on here.

    About Me

    So i started the strong lifts program 2 months ago. I am active duty navy on a DDG on deployment and decided to finally start doing weights again after over 8 years not really lifting. I mostly did this because the ship was doing a 1000 lb challenge club and I wanted to see if i could hit it in 3 months which was close to when our deployment would be ending. Didnt want to be lifting heavy weights while moving all around in the Atlantic Ocean as that sounded like a recipe for injury. After 2 months almost exactly i was able to make this goal a reality but also noticed I have some issues with DL. I am 5'7 223 lbs and seem to suffer from Trex Arms LOL. At least I feel that way. Below is what my workouts have looked like so far.

    Since I was just getting back I sort of modified the starting point for the program but a few times I upped my Squats and DLs a little to what I considered a catchup spot.

    My Original Goal was just to be able to complete the 1000lb challenge. Completed that on 3Oct2019 two months after starting program with 410 Squat, 255 Bench and a 350 Deadlift
