    Strength Training Weight

    Hi.

I've been lifting on and off for a year or so and have recently decided I want to dedicate my workouts to strength training.

I'm not sure if I'm currently at a good weight for my reps? Please see below my workout from yesterday.

    I am 6ft 2 96kg

    All weight is in KG

    Squat
    80 * 5
    90 * 5
    90 * 5
    95 * 5
    95 * 5

Bench Press (dumbells - weight of each dumbell)
    24 * 6
    24 * 6
    26 * 5
    26 * 5
    24 * 5

    Bent-Barbell Row
    40 * 5
    60 * 5
    50 * 5
    50 * 5
    50 * 5

Arnold Shoulder Press (dumbells - weight of each dumbell)
    16 * 5
    18 * 5
    18 * 5
    20 * 5
    20 * 5

Please could advise if I'm at a good starting point in my strength levels?

    Thanks

Anything is a good starting weight as long as you start and stay consistent and get better.

Barbell medicine have an excellent strength based program called the bridge that's free.

    Thanks bro.

I have been continuing doing heavy compound lifts and have made great progress. I do as above but throw in deadlifts every now and then.

    Hit 110kg squat yesterday!!

Trying to hit 3000 calories which I think is really helping me. I train fasted too! 16:8
