So I have been weight training on my own since April of this year and I have noticed that I have definitely gained muscle from going from 95 on bench to now currently 165 for 3x5. But counting my calories I noticed I am not nearly eating enough to satisfy the needs that my body needs to build muscle. For example I am 18 years old, 5’11 and weigh 160. I probably only eat about 1,900 calories a day. I just don’t have the need and sometimes the time to eat. I have school, work, and soon sports that don’t exactly allow me to wip out a whole meal. I saw weight gainers were what some people used to bulk but I just don’t know how healthy those things are, I mean what’s in those things that make them have 500+ calories. I know people have said to just eat even if your not hungry, but it’s hard in a sense that I just have 0 want to eat. Any help would be great because I’m a swim athlete and if I don’t solve this by November, I’m going to go from a stick to a twig because I now weight lift.

As long as cookies, ice cream, trail mix, and peanut butter exist than calories should not be an issue. Burgers, pizza, burritos... so many tasty options.
Make a milkshake or something, smother a baked potato in butter and sour cream then top with bacon bits. Aim for calorie dense foods like nuts.
Plenty of options.Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.

Welcome to bodybuilding where even when you aren't hungry youll find a way to get the food down your throat.
If you really need extra calories go for protein shakes idk much about weight gainers but I doubt they'll kill u but youd probably get better results eating real food instead because like you said what could they have in it to get so many calories idk. I just know protein shakes are easy calories if you use milk with them. Speaking of milk you could chug a ton of it for calories if you aren't hungry hahaDonald Trump Jr. and Tucker Carlson 2024

Get a pack of peanuts from a convenience store 2 for 1$ 300calories, 24g fat, 12g protein, 8g carbs. Or if you want to add a lot of calories I have a recipe.
2 scoops of vanilla protein, French vanilla works great.
2 cups of milk.
1 package of cinnamon oatmeal
2 tablespoons of peanut butter
1/2 to a full banana.
Roughly 800 to 1000 calories, 80g protein, 100-120 carbs, 20g of fat. I started drinking that awhile back just cause it tasted ****ing phenomenal.
Though if you're gaining on 1900 calories, the peanuts should be more than enough.
Edit: weight gainers are usually filled to the brim with sugar and get old pretty quick, don't recommend them.
