    Calorie and macro advice.

Hi everyone, I'm just looking for some advice on my calorie intake.
I'm currently 220lb roughly 35% bf, I was going to cut down and lose some weight but have decided to use the 5/3/1 system to try and improve my 1rpm's that have been the same for a while.
For muscle gain my calories have been calculated at about 3300-3600 but I've got quite an active job, my fitbit (I know it's not totally accurate) says I average about 3000 steps an hour at work and that I burn over 1000 cals. Should I add these on to my main caloric intake? If I was cutting I wouldn't and would just be thankful for the extra calorie deficit but I'm not sure on how it works for bulking.

who cares what your fitbit says.

Find your maintenance calories, and eat slightly above that to bulk. Maybe 200-300 calories.

I wouldn't be bulking at 35% body fat.

That being said, if you are going to go down that road, eat enough to gain 2 pounds a month.
