Wanted the Stars to win, but you can't be mad at this iteration of the Bolts for doing it instead. To think these guys were swept in one of the biggest upsets ever last season when it looked like they had peaked, only to come back stronger and be the better team every round despite not having their captain. Some mental fortitude right there.
That's why it's so important to have a good underlying organization... sure Hedman was a #2 overall pick, but so much of their core was drafted and developed in-house and outside of the 1st round. Then the fleece jobs to acquire McDonagh and Sergachev, good deadline adds like Coleman and Goodrow and value signings like Bogosian and Shattenkirk. Putting it all in writing, they did so many things right and it would've been be tragic if they never got rewarded.Go Canucks Go!

Coyotes rumored to be shopping OEL to save cash, except he has an NMC and he only wants to go to Vancouver or Boston
lol if not for the Myers contract maybe the Canucks would be able to make it work. and it would be baffling for the Bruins to acquire OEL with his huge cap hit only to let Krug walk. so I don't see a trade working out at all.
in b4 Coyotes ownership literally run out of cash and can't pay their playersGo Canucks Go!

Kind of hard to tell who’s doing the shopping between Sullivan, Armstrong, or both
Regardless, I hope this is handled the correct way and I believe it will be. OEL’s main grievance is Tochett and outside of that he seems ok with AZ. Hopefully he’ll expand another team or 2 like Edm and there will be another offer on the table so Van or Boston adds a bit
It’s time to play some chess

Local sports media have reported Benning is pursuing OEL very aggressively, so... the Coyotes might not have to wait, the Canucks will be spreading their cheeks for some Swedish penor.
I have no idea how the deal can even work because of the Canucks' cap situation, but given how obsessed Benning is with making bad deals I fear that someone like Boeser is going back to account for another bad contract needing to be included - probably Eriksson's because he's cap-heavy but cash-light.Go Canucks Go!

The Jets picked Centre Cole Perfetti...
I predict he'll be the best player in the entire league!!!
I just hope it isn't the American Hockey League.
I hope the Laine trade crap will stop.
In other news my nose is running, I have a slight fever, my throat is sore, and I have a hangnail. Time to go shopping for some Bleach and lightbulbs.

fukn lmao I remember the hype about Nic Petan. Never seen someone so soft on the boards.
Rangers are going to be a fun team to watch especially with Trouba and Lemieux. Got a soft spot for them. Kakko, Panarin, Fox, Lafrernier, Shersterkin, Kreider...Team will make the cup final vs Jets within 3 years.
Gotta let Samberg, Niku, and Heinola sizzle for a bit in the oven nomsayin?Arsenal FC

Damn. Crazy that Ottawa potentially got their number 1 centre , a top pairing D and now we have a number 1 goalie with Murray from pits...in not even 20 hours. Plus they brought back the 2d logo

Holtby to the Canucks, so rip Markstrom. Granted we have Demko who's shown signs of being just as good, but it's hard for a goalie to be consistently good playing 60+ games a season. Whoever signs Marky will be very lucky.
Anderson is a 25-30 goal scoring beast... when healthy. Huge huge risk signing a long contract with a physical player who's already missed a lot of games before even hitting 30. Could be David Clarkson 2.0.Go Canucks Go!
