After seeing all the fukking RETARDS packing bars the last two nights, I'm convinced that this is going to end up worse than originally thought and I do not believe we will have any kind of NHL playoffs.
Which means that Don's Weenie is going to escape all criticism for his dog chit trade deadline and lack of urgency to address secondary scoring on the Bruins. And footy pajama wearing Bruins fans have a built in excuse now as to why they didn't win (even if there are playoffs, the footy pajama wearers will still use this as a built in excuse as to why Kase and Ritchie never got to build chemistry with linemates instead of actually acknowledging the truth that they both just suck)

Players being told to go home means it's over. Fukking kill me.
And no I don't want any sort of "compromise" or shortened playoffs, any playoff that is less than 4 rounds of 7 game series, is a fake Stanley Cup. Even if they skipped right to the playoffs, as long as it was 4 rounds of 7 game series, I'd count it as legitimate. Short of that, fake.

'19/'20 has become the season that never really happened
Highly doubtful we'll see a playoffs for this season. I figured this would be the case as soon as the reg season was "postponed"
I mean, at what point would the nhl and society as a whole feel comfortable picking back up? When a vaccine is created? When that vaccine is accessible to the masses? Lol at thinking it would be a 2wk shut down and then back to business like nothing happenedLast edited by 441Forty; 03-22-2020 at 05:30 PM.

Just start playoffs once this chit blows over, players are already getting a break anyways, then take a short break and make the next season 60- 70 games or some chit. Not fuking complicated.

it's not really that easy though with how arenas are scheduled, ALL events are now gonna be compacted into that time, hockey isn't gonna take precedence to the arena owners
i honestly think it's most logical to just call it a day on the season, don't award a cup and just run things like normal next season

Tons of other events have been rescheduled. Also perhaps major league sports have priorities written into agreements.
Saw a Yahoo article last week suggesting (by authors) a 24 team playoff with byes for the top seeds. Might be the most prudent thing to do if/when the season starts back up again.#sunyourballs
