    receeding hair line/balding

I'm 36...Hairline receding & thinning slowly on top.
    My wife hates bald guys...

I eat pumpkin seeds daily for the Zinc, which slows hair-loss.

I generally avoid alcohol too, as a precautionary measure.

What else could you recommend, or what have you had success with?

    Get a wig.

    Or a new wife.

Or just let her get used to it. Would you bitch at her if she went bald?

I’m guessing your wife isn’t really that shallow...it’s your money she really loves.

But seriously, this is one of life’s cruelties you just have to accept. If it’s in the genetic cards, it’s inevitable...but you can always grow a beard .

Not quite the same. She can simply let her hair grow long if she chooses to do so (to please you). You, on the other hand, would have to resort to the dreaded comb over, a toupee, or transplant to remain attractive to her. Oh, I forgot you also have to AVOID alcohol. I'd go with a clipper #2 and a nice glass of whisky if I were you.

I have the same problem. I don't like it. I've thought about the transplant deal where they take hair from the base of the back of your head and move it to the balding areas in the front. That's all of done about it though is think about it, LOL. I probably won't do anything. I'm also mostly grey now, and have thought about dying my hair. Haven't done that yet either though.

If you have not already as the others said go with clipper short, it looks more athletic anyway, and exudes confidence in the sense that you are accepting your place in pecking order of human beauty.

I have trouble sympathising with hair loss woes...started losing mine in early 20's, shaved to the bone and never affected any aspect of my life.

Everyone is different though, so all I can say is that in general it seems people favour the totally bald look over the horseshoe or "clown" look.

Also, I imagine the PROCESS of losing your hair is much worse than the actual end result of being bald...again, embrace it, shave it, and ignore it. Just last week, my best friend of over 35 years asked me "when did you lose your hair??" after seeing me for the first time with 5 days of stubble growth (I was on vacation and working on the house, too lazy to shave)...he was shocked, and he has seen me every day practically. We laughed over beers a couple of times since at how ridiculous it is that he had no idea.

You need to give the hair loss clinic in Beijing a call. If you send them money they will send you a cream. You will grow hair, look like Stalin. One very minor side effect is that you will become impotent.

    Lol.
It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.

It's easy to not be afraid of tigers when you're sitting in your living room watching a television program about tigers. When you're in the jungle where the tigers are, it's quite a different story.

I dont want to do horse shoe, I would prefer fully bald but my head shape doesn't suit it.

Could consider implants, but i've seen a dud that loked like a barbie doll, with dozens of tufts of hair all clumped together, which looked worse than just straight-up baldness.

My wife left me because I’m going bald.
    Oh well, it’s hair loss

meh, it's the heart that maketh the man. You are still young and there are
    certainly things you can do.

The bald look has been cool for a long time and we have many examples of famous people
rocking it. If you have good, even average looks then you're laughing, confidence plays a
huge role which a lot of women find sexy. Maybe the transplant you saw was not finished?

Another option is to work with a good hairdresser, something
to suit the head-shape ie- allowing some hair at the back, even sides to
produce a cool artistic design, a very stylish look which includes a beard
that will need regular trimming to keep it polished. I saw a guy with super short hair
with an elaborate design some time ago, it was amazing and suited him well. You
can go dramatic or tone it down how you want, this is where your wife will
be a great help (hopefully she likes beards).

You can do a better search than I did but you get the idea, these
models have a full head of hair.

    https://www.pinterest.com.au/pin/615937686512627135/

What a tattoo artist can do...I didn't look too hard to find this either.

Or join The bearded Brotherhood my my what a fine example
    (looking very hard indeed lol)
