    Use online to search

look for a gym that is nearby. Also google searching can be of good help. It is not always the strongest or one who is in the best shape who is necessarily he best trainer/coach. Instead look at their knowledge they have as well as what they have accomplished with themselves and their clients. Lastly, some peoples personalities don't click well with each other. Now being a trainer it is not that you want to be friends with the client, but it helps to have a trainer with good communication skills as well as to ask questions similar to if you were to go to a financial advisor you would be asking for advice on how to invest your money. Also ask friends or family who are into fitness. Perhaps they know a trainer to seek out. Also there are online coaches to seek out as well as people who put out tons of free information online now as well. It is ultimately up to you!
